Easily my favorite character. Neuvillette completely took me by surprise with his character. If there was any doubt (which there wasn't) this demo absolutely sold me. By far the best demo imo and so grandiose! Fits him really well.

@@kazumasatou1348 same! i was planning on pulling for alhaitham's weapon and was like "eh easy skip characters, ill have a lot of time to save primos" but then neuvillette just got me on a chokehold and i need this otter dragon man in my life, easily in the top 3 of my favourite characters

"The firmament .... begins to crack" And the best thing is, we've no idea if the imagery here is metaphorical (representing Fontaine's cracking legal system / the state of the country for example) or literal (the firmament is an actual thing in Genshin Universe, which has been brought up more and more lately)

@@Natsu not really. It is unclear where the place with the shattered sky from the Book is even located, not only in terms of space but also time. It's way too early to speak of any "answers"

One thing I absolutely love about Neuvillette is one thing that sets him apart from the other characters; his attire is symmetrical. Most characters have asymmetrical clothing, but Neuvillettes attire speaks to his alignment with order. Love it!!

This demo really is peak in a lot of ways and there’s something about it that makes him feel like a different breed all together as a character. Moreover I liked the musical progression throughout this one too after watching it again! To this day Zhongli’s demo still holds the most views above everyone and as much as I love my Zhongli and his demo, Neuvillette’s demo absolutely deserves to top him. Periodt. Edit: You did a great job explaining it given you’re a filmmaker, it’s easy to follow along 😃

Never ever will a demo surpass zhonglis in terms of views, it was the beginning of the game and everyone was more hype than ever for these demos. Now after 3 years a lot of players dont watch them as often anymore and thats a shame.

​@@blueveil3277 Honestly I feel like it's a personality disorder kinda thing, maybe she has two sides to her and she opresses one out of fear who is technically the real persona of the archon Focalors. Maybe I'm completely off the mark however it's a common trope in anime and since Genshin draws on a lot of ideas from there to appeal to the same audience it would make sense. Happened with Fischl as well except that she just plays the character but not actually unstable. Either way I'm very curious to learn about it in the next patch.

There's a legend in Fontaine that whenever it rains, the Hydro Dragon is crying. Strangely, rain usually only happens whenever a trial has finished The leading theory regarding Neuvlilette (no hard confirm, but c'mon, it's too obvious) is that he's the (or the reincarnation) of the Hydro Dragon

Neuvillette is my all time favorite character! He’s gorgeous and his character story is just amazing. He’s actually a high ranking character per se in the story as he’s what’s known as one of the seven dragon sovereigns of teyvat. What you’re seeing at the end with the crack in the sky is telling more towards the teyvat sky is fake and the prophecy of Fontaine with the primordial sea.

Considering the timeline of honkai impact 3rd, we are due a gamechanger of global proportions in genshin. I think that the sky is just about to open on their heads, literally, because fontaine might be overreaching, or celestia wants to put a celestial plug there, but the fact remains that, considering genshin is following old testament genesis to a degree, *we are due for a diluve*, and aint it fun that according to neuvillette's story quest name, his constellation is *diluvies* owo

keep your expectations low, I don't think the writers can compress a world-ending calamity in just 3 Archon Quests.. that'll prolly at best just be in a cinematic sequence and afterwards will be a boss for us to fight casually every week lol Plus, the true nature of the crack in the sky has been exposed in the Melusine book world quest where you have to read Jakob's (Rene's companion) diary/notes.. its the visualization of the World Formula of Rene, the very reason why he wanted to save Fontaine by turning everyone into water to live eternally. It shows a destroyed civilization and a crack in the sky with the darkish-purple abyss behind it.. its really no different than the one in tunigi hollow, so you could see that as a visual reference

Furina/Folcalors is the Archon/God of the nation of Justice/ Fontaine. She is often found sitting on her throne and looking at Neuvilette’s court sessions for her entertainment. She is a kind of a bratty Archon who seeks for entertainment and drama (and also twists in trials) in the trials that Neuvilette is in charge of.

Let me explain a few things about this trailer without giving any major spoilers. That giant set of scales is the Oratrice, an artificial judge said to have been created by the Hydro Archon aka the god of Fontaine where this trailer is set. Lady Furina is the Hydro Archon, however, it doesn't take long to see that she's completely incompetent, leaving Neuvilette to essentially run Fontaine in her place. However, the Oratrice currently seems to be malfunctioning, which is the reason Neuvilette has decided to do something about this himself. Idk what happens next as I haven't finished the new part of the quest, but hopefully that should clear up the trailer for you.

I think the crack is a story about Fontaine being falling apart. He's the dragon of the water. One of the most powerful entity in teyvat. More powerful than any archon. In fact, in Genshin lore, Archon are borrowing just a small part of his power to become extremely powerful being. The crack is a prophecy that Fontaine is going to end. (spoiler alert below this line) Ok, this is a little bit of spoiler. Fontaine citizen are susceptible to the water. Like human, from dust return to dust, Fontaine people will return to water whenever in contact with primordial water. In the underground prison, there is a gate with scale on it, that hold the water underneath, that already touched the red bar, and ready to burst. He postponed the water by his power, but he said that it's only temporary. The lady there is Lady Furina, the Water Archon. But at the end of that last chapter, Arlecchino questions her nature. Is she an impostor? That remains to be seen in the next patch.

What do you mean by “more popular”? Are you comparing the Fontaine music to Sumeru’s? If so, you’re probably complaining about how the music is sounding more familiar to what you hear. Sumeru’s music is familiar to people living in the Middle East or South Asia. So it’s popular to them but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad. Edit: adding that the electric drum kit is also used in many other popular character demos with other instruments.
