Most, if not all people who shoot cooking videos, shoot with a center island, with the rest of the kitchen behind them. What if you don’t have a center island and you face the wall, how would you light that up and what lens would you use?

So nicely laid out Philip! We use a set of Nikon primes pretty much identical to the Sonys you have there, and they work like magic for all those reasons. So interesting to hear about all the features the Sony cameras have, especially with the internal zoom options. Thanks for this Philip!

On your suggestion, I actually purchased a Tamron 90mm macro lens and I love it. The only downfall is that it's kind of noisy when I use it but it has an option where I can lock in the focus and it won't move back and forth.

Hello! I really love you content. I have a question. I want to shoot foodie vlog content like you said while doing the 24mm review. I wanna do food reviews and planning to put my camera on the table while doing it. I’m a newbie when it comes to cameras. I already have a Canon M6 m2 and just ordered a Sigma 18-35mm and a Sigma 16mm lenses yesterday and they are on the way. I’m just wondering if would any of that work or do I need to return it and get something that’s like the 24mm but compatible for my camera? Thank you!
@PhilipLemoine2 жыл бұрын
I think the 18-35 is prob all you really need! The 16mm isnt THAT much wider. It is A LOT smaller and lighter than the 18-35mm though. Id look for something wider if possible. Like the 10-18mm. If you can, try and rent one and try it out first before you buy it.
