Ah, the only season when he worked with the infamous Dr Ibarguren, the man who "created" Riccardo Ricco, JJ Cobo, Raimondas Rumsas and so many other one hit wonders...until 2017 when they were reunited at Quickstep of course and Phil started winning big again. It's an amazing difference to see how much worse Philippe was in 2012-2016 without Ibarguren's magic potion. But that's okay, the list of riders who don't perform after they leave the doctor is very long. Just look at all the riders who left Quickstep these last 5 years. Can't wait to see Alaphilippe stop winning when his turn comes.

To be honest, I see him or Rodriguez win in the Ardennes classics.. Gilbert is not fit and won't be ready for Amstel or L-B-L, I hope he'll refind his form for WC in September.

Not so good,he won two stages in the vuelta and the world championships. Most pro riders do a 20 year career without winning that much. And on the doping remark nothing suspicious has ever been found which too me is a sure sign he doesn't dope because he volunteers himself to have tests done on him even though he is on of the most tested riders in the peloton anyway. If you doped and you did that you woulld have to be very stupid which he isn't. Great video on a great rider. Enough said.
