You would think that they will use 777 ER because of it’s high capacity but no , they are racist to our own countrymen and women, they will use instead the old A330-300 with no flight entertainment system even on business class for a 9 hour flight,better fly with Qatar , Emirates, Kuwait,Etihad or even Saudia…

Great video. I remembered PAL was supposed to launch to SEA long times ago and UA didn’t accept. They have a lot of Filipino in WA and OR. I had flown on PAL B77W before from MNL to BKK on business class Jan 2016.

I flew them last year the 2-3-2 configuration is dated but they more than make up for the warm service and the food was outstanding.

Yes that is true. I flew the MNL -LAX and the YVR-MNL business class seating 2-3-2 last year. They have an -ex Garuda 777 with 1-2-1 seating, hope they keep it that way.

Yes PAL really needs to update their old fleet. PAL made record profits after covid but they refuse to upgrade their fleet on their LAX-MNL route. I flew ANA on their LAX - MNL flight business class in 2022. ANA has a 1-2-1 configuration in business class and you could partition yourself off while you are sleeping. Absolutely awesome experience.

You went in the seventy-eight through Gate 6? Same one on my flight to the Angels last month, on their newest eighty-three. Can notice because of the Japan Airlines 787 parked beside from your camera-view. Found out the British A380 on the hangar is G-XLEH at 13:07; and 13:13 onward, it seems that the Emirates A380 with registration A6-EOE and Wimbledon special livery left the same day early morning... 22:44 - Me as well... had never flown back to my old home-province for 13 years until 2023; so much has changed. Would this route and v.v. last? One of their A330s has returned to serve flight 112/113 after weeks' hiatus. And welcome back to "Emerald City"!

PAL’s business class is a joke on these senior citizen 777s. No offense intended to seniors. I am 70 myself and I certainly wouldn’t sell myself as 4-star. I only experienced it once and never again. I only fly on ANA and JAL on my regular trips between LAS & MNL. The connections are convenient and the quality, cleanliness and reliability of Japanese airlines is beyond compare. One thing PAL has aside from excellent cabin crews: Flying on PAL seems to have therapeutic benefits. I see so many people boarding with wheelchair assistance and miraculously many of those wheelchairs are no longer required at the destination. 😊

It's about time. Layovers can be very stressful. But i prefer arriving in Seattle in the day as oppose in the evening. You cannot beat the view when arriving in Seattle especially when the sky is clear.

NAIA now has a second destination to the Pacific Northwest after Vancouver and the 6th overall destination to the United States. From NAIA Terminal 1 in Parañaque to Sea-Tac Int'l Airport in SeaTac, WA, PAL did well to do this welcoming Filipinos to the Evergreen State aka Washington State.

As your plane approaches to King County, WA, you got a good view of Seattle's city limits. I can see the Lumen Field (Seahawks' NFL home 🏈) and T-Mobile Park (Mariners' MLB home ⚾️) lit up south of downtown. Notice that Seattle is located between the Puget Sound to the west and Lake Washington to the east as it is located by water. If you want to stay in the best suburbs and satellite cities, I like Mercer Island, Bellevue, and most preferably, Redmond.

I travel to the Philippines from the US 5-6 times a year. I never fly PAL. Their cabin crew is wonderful, but it ends there. This video says it all. Old aircraft. The cabin is tired and dated (they never fix those broken armrests) and the Business Class is a joke and an embarrassment when compared to other Asian carriers. Three abreast lie flat seats in Business……….seriously! All the balloons and pastries in the world….it’s like putting lipstick on a pig. PR better upgrade their fleet asap. I only fly Cathay Pacific to MNL. Sure I gotta transfer in HKG, but flying experience and comfort level is a night and day difference.

to be fair, their a350 and a321 neos (which fly to AU) are decent. But everything else in their medium and long haul fleet needs refurbishment. Very inconsistent product I would say. The flight attendants are generally nice at least. The food i think is also decent. The lack of alliance in general discourages me from flying with it.

Agreed. I flew lax to mnl 3 times now. The entertainment system for everyone was broken. Wifi is not working either. Food is subpar and they stringent on giving food out. I just use eva air or asiana. It's so much better service. Also making everyone throw your food and water away past security before you board the plane is ridiculous.

I hope they are using new planes now. Few months ago when i went to the states pal used an old plane. Walang mga charging ports tapos yung legroom masikip. Ang mahal pa nung pamasahe. Tapos my rimowa luggage got damaged pa during the trip and pal never paid me for the damages even if i had already filed a complaint. My complaint just went to deaf ears.
