If Starlux keeps it up and can grow their fleet and route map, EVA may be in serious trouble. What surprised me most about your experience was that you had moist, flavorful chicken on an aircraft. 99/100 times airplane chicken is dry and not very good. I hope you were able to continue on from TPE in Starlux's A350...would love to see that trip report if you have one forthcoming.

Yo, you casually spotted two USAF C-130s with 8 blades behind the two Philippine Air Force C-130H (5157) and C-130T(5011). The two usaf hercs with the NP-2000, 8 blades behind the 5011 and 5157 are rare in the Philippines. They're at Cebu because of the Balikatan 2024 which ended on May 11

Yeah for me just cause I like looking at the engine blades, for others so they can get off the plane earlier

There is, but since my reservation has a flight not operated by STARLUX I can't check in online, I paid $40k miles and I think $30

Starlux stopped flying to manila because they terminate the contract so its only Clark and Cebu.

Starlux says it is a 'Luxury Airline'? However, their seats look like they would fit right in a budget airline.

Most narrowbody seats are like that nowadays. Look at Singapore Airlines' 737 MAX product (exact same Collins Meridian seat) and Cathay Pacific's A321neo product.
