My bad experiences flight in the philippines Airlines. I never forget this my story..... Initial flight would be from Manila to Bangkok, and then switch over. The flight was changed from Bangkok to Los Angeles. The change took place during my holiday residence, where I did not always have access to the internet. The change was communicated by e-mail, but there was no point out that there must also be a Visa (ESTA status) for a transfer flight in Los Angeles. This was only pointed out upon check-in. Philippines Airlaines staff were not at all helpful and could not mean anything to us !! We then went to the immigration at the airport and they were not at all clear and said we should take another flight !!! However, they did not help us with that either !! After many asking around and a lot of stress, it was indicated that it could also be requested online, but for processing and permission this took 24 hours. Because of this we lost our whole flight !! Philippines Airlines has not helped with an other flight. It was our problem !! We then booked a new flight via CheapTickets at Japan Airlines, to be able to fly back on 24 August. However, it took a long time before we received a booking confirmation. CheapTickets then let us know by e-mail that Japan Airlines has made a mistake in their available flights, so that CheapTickets also canceled this flight for us !! In the end we had to book a new flight again, but this was only possible before 25 August. Mean that we also have to book an overnight stay in Manila Henben! The new flight has cost us € 2667.60 !!!! And after checking in from the hotel online in the evening, the time of departure again changed on August 25 at 06.20 to 12.55 !! I think that the Cheaptickets and Philippines Airlines have been extremely negligent in the provision of information and support !! The change could have pointed me to the fact that I needed a Visa (ESTA) for the amended stopover. Then I would have had enough time to apply for it and I could have made my flight and not had to incur incredibly high costs. I blame myself for not having done research after changing what that would means. So i hope everyone can't learn my story. . Flightnummer PR 112 Manilla-Los Angeles... Frist time and last time to flight in philippines Airlines never and never again.
