The narrator is correct he is seeking 3rd term 1st was 1948 to 1949, got full term from 1949 to 1953 , this is 1953 against magsaysay then magsaysay won

Narrator is incorrect in saying President Elpidio Qyirino seeking third term as president of the Republix of the Philippines. He only assumed presidency when Preaident Manuel A. Roxas in April 1949. So President Quirino is only seeking the presidency for the first time. The 1935 Philippine constitution only allows a two terms only like the US constitution.

Roxas died in 1948. He assumed presidency, then was elected in 1949. He was actually seeking a second term.
