among the visayan cebuano based speaking regions in the visayas and mindanao, i think its only the province of cebu that sings their very own cebuano version, since they are very patriotic and ethnocentric with their own language. i grew up in mindanao and i speak the visayan language, cebuano variant as my mothertongue and im already 35, yet this is the very first time i heard the cebuano version in full of lupang hinirang.

Follow the same marching tempo for our country’s Philippine national anthem. They sang it with correct lyrics but different tempo from slow to normal to higher notes including Martin Nievera sang Lupang Hinirang in 2009 during Pacquiao Hatton fight but Pacquiao won the fight for our country, but Martin Nievera violated RA 8491, that the law of Flag and Heraldic code of the Philippines.

actually the original lyrics of lupang hinirang was inspired by a poem by a kapampangan poet Mariano pabalan byron of bacolor Pampanga "lubuad mapalad" which Honored land or Lupang hinirang, the kapampangan was adopted to spanish, so to say kapampangan did make the national anthem lyrics

@@tatikagila5057 it's just a language. And also, the Philippines has more than a hundred languages and they don't understand each other. The language of the colonizers were the lingua franca or the language that most of them can understand. Choosing one language among the hundreds will cause more divide. That's why we now have the "Filipino language" which is the standardized Tagalog with contributions from other native and foreign languages.
