I believe that if western men find Filipina women are becoming westernized, they will just travel to other SEA countries for relationships such as Thailand, Vietnam or Cambodia or Latin American countries. Just my view on this topic.
@joedoe770611 ай бұрын
Definitely! Why spend the $$$$$ and the time and effort to travel halfway across the world to get the same type of woman who is here at home. 1 of the extremely beautiful values that Filipinas have is their traditional ways. I hope that's not going away.
@azspeedster546511 ай бұрын
@@joedoe7706 I totally agree with you. It is obvious that western social media is viewed heavily in the Philippines. Many KZbin vloggers have noted that the mindset of many Filipinas are steering towards the independent and feminist mentality of western women. Only time will tell on how this will affect Filipino women’s views of traditional values of relationships and marriage.

I want to mention a few things. 1st, one of the things of your videos that i enjoy every time is your laugh! It's so refreshing, genuine, and natural flowing. I think we all would do good to get back to our joyous, unrestrained laughter like that. 2nd: i agree 100% with you ladies saying that you would not start dating a man that has no job. If he has no job, then he is already demonstrating to you that he may not be able to give his duties as a husband in a traditional marriage. So right from the beginning, you have no security that he can give your heart's desire if traditional marriage. A westernized marriage is the man and the woman both providing, instead of the man providing. With that in mind, it seems that you all want yo receive traditional marriage/relationship. It goes both ways. The lady needs to be able to demonstrate that she is going to give a traditional marriage to the man and fulfill those duties. That's a real relationship, both doing their part. If that is not given and shown, then what incentive is there for a man to travel halfway around the world, spend the necessary $$$$ to accomplish it, and the time and effort involved if he is just going to receive the same type of marriage that is available in america? Of course, Filipinas are extremely physically beautiful! But physical beauty is not enough to make a marriage or make a man happy. The unique and rare beauty that Filipinas have is their ways of traditional marriage. Please don't lose that, otherwise you will be just the same as other women. 😊

Interesting if that's your opinion that you would be watching this content.... you do realize 3 of the 4 girls were single moms and that 2 of the 4 still are. Huh.... so you're just watching this to pick up tips on how to best avoid women like this? I think the discussion regarding sex-ed and cultural norms in the household speak volumes on that topic.... I think it more comes down to whether or not you want to raise a kid rather than making assumptions about the girls quality or character before getting to know her and the circumstances, but that's just me. Because that's what Red Flags are... a preconceived notion (deal breaker) regarding a particular personal quality. Peace and Love, B Goat

I married a single mom. She had to grow up quickly when she became a mom and so, she's more mature than other women her age who don't have kids. She's very grateful to me for taking away her shame and difficult financial position and more appreciative of me that another woman might be. Plus, I had a good indication when I marred her that she wasn't frigid but loved sex as much as I do. She had changed her ways and had been celibate for several years and was ready to settle down. I love her and our family life with my adopted kids; I've never been happier.

Yup. No question. I'm hearing the exact same terms used by Western women. I assume this is all being learned on social media. And in this bizarro world this video has 4 popular Filipina Tubers pushing the idea Filipinas are traditional while trying to create a big content creation business. Becoming boss chicks and more masculine. It's just a side effect of increasing wealth. Here's where it gets weird AF...I've watched some video interviews of prostitutes and pimps in the US. In that relationship the woman earns all the money yet the man is more masculine than most men and the prostitute more submissive than most women. It's an interesting dynamic.

Good group of girls with varying life experiences for an interview like this. Well done Leah. IMO as long as a Filipino household can be supported by One income there is much less threat of Filipinas becoming Westernized. So long as they don't become too materialistic and force themselves into a 2 income requirement due to debt.... but in the West during the 'time of feminism' (60's-70's) there was massive inflation that drove the necessity for women to work to maintain a 'Western' Lifestyle. I was there... I witnessed it as my mom went back to work as the Fed lifted the over-night interest rate to 15% (home loans were 20+%) and NAFTA was driving down wages as factories closed. In large, the Western Consumer Family never went back to a single family home (couldn't really in most cases due to cost and wage disparities). It's very hard to have a traditional family where the wife can stay at home and retain her femininity while running the home If she has to Also spend all day working!

If you turn sexual education over to the government things will get 100 times worse. Parents need to teach delayed gratification. The community has to step up and observe the teenagers. Also, there has to be parintal, and community discipline and shame for the young men and women who engages in pre-marital sex. Social media has to be monitored by parents like in china to protect kids
@lorandmagyar Жыл бұрын
Delayed gratification ? Why ? What's the point ? I was having sex at 12 years old. I certainly wasn't going to listen to "delayed gratification" speeches from people eating steak, drinking wine, and having lots of sex. Every cell in our bodies is screaming at us to reproduce.

Its easy to blame others, but first look on yourself then judge other people or gender!

Sizzy, nowadays, men are not looking for a single mother because he doesn't want to raise another man"s children, because of all the headaches and difficulties that involved with a ready-made family. So, single mothers are starting to become disadvantaged in the dating market.
@superman1081 Жыл бұрын
17:09 Wait a minute Shay! You have to hear the point of view of the men, who are fathers. In the U.S. our laws and court systems, heavily favors women over men. This includes family law. Let's saw that the man and the woman split up. Normally, the children would stay behind with the mother. However, if the man were to decide to take the children with him, it would cause a fight to happen between them. In situations like this, the cops would get involved and try to resolve the issue, by siding with the mother. Eventually this would likely end up in family court. This is when the women almost always gain custody of the kids. And, on top of all that, the man would have pay a huge child support (and maybe even alimony) that would take most of the man's money. In a lot of cases, the man would end up becoming destitute and will not be able to afford spending time with the kids. And, to make matters even worse, the woman would use the children to manipulate the man, or she may even prevent the man from seeing his children altogether. And, eventually, the man becomes distraught and depressed by it. And, some men eventually give up. There are even a lot of women who would lie against the man in court, just to get custody of the children. And the man could be completely innocent of the the false accusations. But, the judge will most likely believe the woman. So, in this situation, the man would have to tread lightly around the woman. Because, if they get in an verbal argument, then the woman may falsely accuse the man of violence against her or the children. This would cause the man to lose his parental rights to be with his children. And, since he's already paying a huge amount in child support every month, he may be unable to afford an attorney. So, in this country, the man would almost always lose, when it comes to any domestic and parental disruption. So, the issue over whether a man is a "Dead Beat", is not as simple as you may think. Because most men would rather keep his family together and be a husband/partner to the woman and bena father to his children. But, since the women here have an unfair advantage over the men, some would use the term "Gynocracy" to describe our culture and society.
@lorandmagyar Жыл бұрын
Sex education is critical. But it's important to also change the societal reluctance to discuss sex at all levels. It has to be "cool" to discuss biology. Contraception must become normal. Contraception has to become an example of responsibility...not of promiscuity. Wise sexual health decisions will clearly be the enterprise of women in Philippine society... as it seems the men are culturally not prepared to advance their level of understanding and maturity. I have slept with 100s of women. No pregnancies. It's not that difficult for a man not to deposit his sperm inside the woman.

Why do people think the government is the solution to immoral behavior. Your people have been heavily influenced by the West and the increase in teenage pregnancy in the Philippines is a result of that influence. Instead of embracing your own moral traditions (which did not lead to a rise in single motherhood) you have embraced the secular culture from the West. How did that happen? And you are now listening to people like the filipina in all black sitting next to Leah. Who pretty much doesn’t adhere to biblical truths (which warns the youth about the dangers of premarital sex and forbids it) and has embraced her own philosophy about sex and life when in fact she did not create life nor sex. The author of Life and the Creator of sex has put perimeters around sex. There are rules which must be followed, and if they are not followed according to the Designers original purpose and function for sex, then you will have utter chaos. You will have multitudes of single mothers or the slaughter of unwanted babies in the womb of its own mother. Stop thinking the government is the solution or that the wisdom of secularism is the best for your people because it’s not. You people need to return to your conservative values and reject the pathetic values of the left.

I am just now 61. In the US I mostly date 20s-30s. Not because I want to...but because they actually will try new things and do fun stuff. They will hike, snow ski, white water raft, go to the gym, tennis, learn new sports, learn new things. Women my age much less so. However... nearly all of these situations are FWB...which is fine...but not fulfilling. I understand that they don't want to be taking care of a disgusting old man. I sure wouldn't. I guess the main reason I am in these Philippine/Columbia/Mexican "singles" groups...maybe find a person ? Hopefully I find someone closer to my age to share the rest of my life with. Currently I have sex often. Often 3x a day. But I also know that could end tomorrow... whereas that probably wouldn't be a risk to my partner when I was in my 30s and 40s. The other issue is financial. I have to make sure there is enough money for her to live out her life in a similar fashion after I drop dead in bathroom. I can't blow all the money on cocaine and fast cars. That means an adjustment now and throughout the relationship. Fewer 1st class trips to Europe...more weekend trips to a nearby city. 5 year old cars instead of new BMWs every year. So yeah ..30 year olds look a lot better naked than 60 year olds...and that goes both ways.

Come on man the Philippines is like one of the last strongholds men have left to find feminine women. How did this question out of all questions even come up?
@prepperjonpnw6482 Жыл бұрын
Two things - 1st if Filipinas become more westernised then the “real” men will stop coming to the Philippines looking for wives. NOT being westernised is what makes Filipinas so attractive and desirable. 2nd - Far too many of these vlogs and Q&A videos end up talking about s*x and other “naughty” topics. It attracts the wrong kind of people to your channel and to the Philippines. “Real” men don’t want women who constantly talk about those things because we know from living in the west what kind of women are like that. If we wanted 304’s we could just go to Thailand or stay in the west. It’s the women who are more traditional as well as beautiful that attract “real” men like Leah’s husband.

Deadbeat dads. Along with financials... another subject not well covered by the vlog community. It blows my mind how many amazing women I know.. with super cool kids... whose "baby dads" are non-existent. Yes...they pay court ordered $upport...but they don't go to their kids' soccer games, birthday parties, help with homework. I just bought a minivan because I need more seats to take my kids friends around. Basically I take them to do the things their parents don't. Museums, roller skating, theater, sports, music, indoor skydiving, canoeing. My young friends in Myrtle Beach hang out at my house because I am the only one in a large group of adult friends that lives on the beach (when I am in Myrtle Beach and not Indianapolis). Kids are actually fun ! The ones I hang out with are incredibly polite and well behaved... unlike many adults I know. It's a privilege to hang out with them. Myrtle Beach culture is interesting in that a lot of adult socializing includes kids. For instance the parties in Myrtle Beach look the same as the ones in Philippines. Kids and dogs everywhere. Multi-generational. Not so much in Indianapolis where parents typically have babysitters and it is a given that children are not welcome for most social events.
