Last year, my mom had surgery in Cebu and the bill was astronomical, my brother and I had to pay for her bill, healthcare in the Philippines is the most ridiculous.

That's why expats and fil-ams would rather go to US than have their operation in the Philippines. It's cheaper to fly abroad than have the operation in private hospitals in the Philippines. Public hospitals is a 50/50 option.

Yes we have lost friends and family to Phil so called healthcare. More like don't care, can't cope...... :( We were put to consultation which the doc then refers to other place which needed to start again and pay again for more consultations, checkups, scans, everything essentially a complete waste of time and random guesses of not needed investigations. Health keeps deteriorating whilst excuses are made, time is sold, no resolution, cures or guidance..... Only thing doctors ever did in my experience of Philippines is refer you to other doctors, or ask you to wait...... we spent our entire life savings on just trying to find out what's wrong, and when they think they know what it might be, there's no money left for treatment. Money or no money, there's no such thing as Philippines healthcare.

The country is unable to sustain the Extreme population growth. The PHL has 115 milion people (2022) with the size a little larger than the state of Nevada with a population of only 3,104,614. Had the PHL not experience this high population, the country would have been able to carry the fundamental necessities of its people including provision of free health care, food, shelter, and education. There was a recent news about the rise in teenage pregnancies which is adding the burden of every human being of the PHL.

Especially of branded medicines. Pharmaceutical companies spends hundreds of thousand in wooing doctors to prescribed their brand by taking them to all expenses paid domestic and international travels. Of course they have to up the price of their medicines to recoup the money they spend on these doctors.

Essential medicines cost 3x more than international prices. TRUTH!!!!!

Di mo ba napanuod na nireject na siya ng agency niya kasi magiging OFW lang siya? Tingin mo ba makakatakas ang mga tao na kumikita ng 200 pesos a day? Not even minimum wage. Ang mga taong naghahangad about going abroad ay mga pribilihadong tao lang. Pipe dream yan sa karamihan ng Pilipino.

My advice to Pilipino if you want to save for your future…save money to get out of that country….go to other countries with better opportunities and free healthcare that’s a better future for Pilipinos rather that saving money for a Pilipino future…

To deal with the problem is very simple. Stop multiplying yourself senselessly and recklessly if you cannot afford. Less children means less expenses and more money for yourself, especially health care. Simple.

Stop eating meat and fish. Fish has a lot of pollutants in it. Meat has a lot of saturated fat and heme iron. Focus on a whole plant diet. Stop using oil and sodium salt also.

China🇨🇳 still owes the Filipino people an estimated USD$177 billion for damages from the 2016 Hague lawsuit. - This money can help the Philippines to battle health inequities.

Filipinos living in the Philippines should not bear not even a single child! Don't let your child suffers the same fate of hardships, lack of opportunity, government corruption, abuses and incompetence. You need to wake up now! Prayers won't even help you.

Marami pa nga ring uneducated sa Pinas. Bakit Kaya dahil meron namang mga free colleges or free trade schools. Mahilig kasing mag-anak kaagad. Ang daming single parents na kahit walang trabaho anak pa more tapos mamalimos sa gobyerno or sa iba.

It's no longer corruption. It's greed of businessmen and doctors are also businessmen, and they consider patients as just mere clients not patients.
