MOST filipinos cant afford to go spend 100 pesos on coffee MOST filipinos live on minimum wage and make at most 10-15k a month in pesos. 100 pesos for a coffee is too much to those folks. Now if your a filipino making 50-100k in manila and your fortunate to have that work sure 100 pesos no problem.

Since you are in Tagaytay , did you go to the Antonio's Restaurant ? It is an old filipino family house converted into a restaurant . Ask maybe the locals . It is not direct in a road . Keep safe ! Enjoy !

Tagaytay City is not in Batangas, it's in Cavite. It only has a good vantage point for Taal Volcano, which is in Batangas.

I’m a residence of UK in Kettering Northampton, my family live in Silang Cavite 30 minutes drive away from Tagaytay. 20 years ago... If you enter Tagaytay you will smell the fresh air with scented pineapple from Silang enter up to the end of Tagaytay Road because all the farmers have their own pineapple farm, but after 20 years the smell of pineapple from the air of Tagaytay is gone now. Now a days no more pineapple farm but it replaced into Condo, Hotels ang Malls.

That Starbucks is actually looking over a massive volcano I’m pretty sure, that lake used to be a giant volcano, and the smaller volcano inside the island erupted earlier this year in January

FYI the Starbucks in the Phillipenes are owned by a Portuguese company. In the Manila area where we are there are lot’s of great stores all over. Much better than the typical stores in California or most other places for that matter.

there is another starbucks somewhere in tagaytay that is at the bottom of the road, and going by car it is really steep to go to the store by car so people would go out of the car and the driver would stay at the car. it’s sometimes entertaining when the car tries to go back up the road. its THAT steep

Actually tagaytay is in the boundary of The province of Cavite and Batangas but technically Tagaytay is in Cavite but Taal Lake and volcano which can be viewed from Tagaytay is located in batangas many people even filipinos gets confused on this

Kindly share your reference. As far as I know, Tagaytay City is geographically located and politically affiliated to the province of Cavite. The mayor, vice mayor, city councilors, representative to congress are residents of Cavite. Even the electorate is considered residents of Cavite, they are even qualified to vote for the provincial political posts of Cavite (not Batangas). They’re locations (SMDC Wind Residences and starbucks just across Primark Mall) are all considered part of Cavite. I don’t know why bother saying that Tagaytay City was formerly part of Batangas or half of it is currently part of Batangas (which I still doubt, unless it is not residential/commercial). I would know because all my life I reside near Tagaytay City, on the adjacent town called Indang.

view during March to May is way better since it is summer in the Philippines. So the sky would be great because clouds are scattered and the blue sky would be a stunning view with taal volcano in the foreground view. And also George, i suggest to use a Pixel 3xl phone or even 2 xl. it is great for taking photos in low light. i have pixel 2 XL now and it is great...

Taal / Nasugbu is batangas close to tagaytay thats really nice. Taal is like a little vigan, Nasugbu has decent beaches and a great restaurant called Kainan sa Dalampasigan.’they have the best Baked Mussels!

You should try the other sbucks branch in tagaytay. Theres one in twin lakes. And my favorite on the orher side with the steep slope. But i would recommend bag of beans just a walk away

If you like tagaytay site maybe next time try Marilaque highway in Rizal province also like an hour from Manila...mountain roads, great view, cool weather, great nature sight seeing, nice cafes but less developed than tagaytay road but longer...

Try the twin lakes starbucks in tagaytay... that has an awesome view of mountains... a little further down the main road

Carlo Rossi!!! It is a California made wine and is very popular in the Philippines - sold in almost all cities in the Philippines. It tastes good and it is cheap (100 to 200 pesos depending where it is sold).

I recommend for you to go to starbucks in Baguio it's colder and it has 3 levels
