Majority of Imelda's shoe's were actually samples and was given to her by the local shoemakers so she can wear it and endorse it to boost the economy...go and see it for yourself in the museum it's there for everyone to see . Imelda is an intelligent diplomat and her projects are focused on the Filipino people that is still being used today. They're the one's what made public utilities such as water, electricity, transportation and education free for Filipinos hence Filipino overseas workers were mostly engineers, nurses and teachers.
