That is one just of the testaments of corruption that happened during FEM graft ridden rule. Projects were created and public funds were use to build necesseties to line up the pockets of him and his cronies. Estimated up to $10B stashed away by that dictator during his rule (not including the gains by his cronies 😉) Harsh reality right? That is FEM rule for you and every Filipino , so better stop reminding us of that dark era in Phil history 😉

Landed in Manila today and staying with friends a few days before beginning my own Daot inspired adventure. Plan is to tour down the east coast by motorbike and ferry until i get to Davao. Then back to Manila by the end of July. Just keep doing what you’re doing, you’re really good at it. Thanks for the inspiration and if we cross paths the first beer is on me.

At 20:14 you show Liloan Port Building. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in ever in the entire world was opposite that building. No sheets or pillows on the bed, no loo roll, no towels, no nothing (in 2013 there were no other hotels there). Thankfully the shop in the port building had plenty of ice cold beer for sale so after a few beers sleeping was easy. I remember Butlins as I spent many a childhood holiday there. Looking forward to that beer.

You and John are real foreign DAOTS. Thank you for showing us places in Leyte. I am a Filipina and I feel embarrassed seeing or hearing other Filipino females asking foreign males if they are single! In most Asian countries, we are not taught to delve in or ask personal questions from any male visitors let alone male foreigners.
