PHILIPPINES MOST EXPENSIVE FISH? I Can't Believe This! (Beach Home Davao)

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS DAY AT OUR BEACH HOME IN CATEEL, DAVAO ORIENTAL, MINDANAO!!
Definitely this has to be the most expensive fish I have ever bought... because of the circumstances! I woke up and was flying my drone from my balcony, when I notice a few fisherman in the distance. They started holding up their fresh caught lapu-lapu. And so, I quickly adventured out on my paddle board to see if I could get it!
I did get it... And took a few bumps along the way!
And then... well, let's just say... something happened. And it made the fish really really expensive for me!

That was intense! Trying to catch up with the fishermen without them knowing that you are coming to buy their fish. You guys must have missed each other but it did worked out perfectly but not the drone. Anyway, we have a saying and practice in Cebu Kulas that once something fell on to the ground the "kinaiyahan" or "nature" asked for her own share. I must say nature asked for your drone in exchange of her fish. ;)

OMG! Red Grouper, my late mother’s favorite. I was just laughing so hard watching you struggled to keep the fish safe & overcoming the waves. And YES, the most expensive fish that was compensated by the lost drone. And that is true too, drone is only a piece of equipment, of course can be replaced anytime. I truly LOVE that attitude. I can relate myself buying expensive exotic tropical fruits for my crazy craving (I am a fruit lover) my reasoning is: I can’t eat my green dollar, but I can spend my money to be happy, it’s only money, just like it’s only a drone. Therefore: We have to live our life before it becomes lifeless. Kyle, enjoy the best of what life has to offer. You all take good care & stay safe. I'm an angler kulas and I love fishing, that size is really good and really expensive. Got mine somewhere in Davao Oriental, a 4kl coral trout (the same fish you had) my friend got a Goliath grouper 18kls, am shookt. Thanks for the video! I really wanted to visit your place with my fishing rods.

Exciting vlog! Sad you lost the drone. I searched online it will cost you around 40 CAD to attach floaters. Maybe best for you to get one since you’re most likely to use it near water. Astig si Kulas!

Just curious, was this drone covered by DJI's Refresh program where you can get up to two drone replacements for accidental loss or damage? I also think you will need to fit your next drone with the floating landing gear kit since you frequently fly over water. Thanks and regards.

It’s a bummer losing that drone but it happens. You handled that well Kyle. I got mine stolen lol. My recommendation for your next drone is mavic mini 2 fly more combo. It’s what I have now.

Maybe it's the Universe's way of telling you to add a Swellpro SplashDrone to the BF Drone Squadron.🤪 (the next time you see the fishermen snag a lapu-lapu, you could use *it* to ferry the fish back to shore) Hopefully you've got Care Refresh service and can get a replacement from DJI (since the signal did cut out).🤙
