Philippines Street Food in Salcedo Saturday Market | Best Place to Eat Street Food in Makati

Went to Salcedo Saturday Market to check out what food they offer and to find what philippines street food they sell.
Amazed by the food variety they offer from grilled foods, tasty desserts, yummy rice meals to refreshing drinks and other treats. Aside from Filipino cuisines, they also treat you with French, American, Spanish and Chinese cuisines that will certainly wet your appetites. This weekend market is popular among tourist, almost half of the costumers are not Filipinos.
There are tables set which you can enjoy your bought food or snacks. It is located inside a park which is in the center of the busy Makati Business District.

I used to frequent this weekend market back in the days when I was in the PH. Having lived in Salcedo neighborhood since I was a kid, I've witnessed small business owners and entrepreneurs really flourished. The idea of this weekend market was to bring the neighborhood and the local community together and celebrate the diversity of the local food culture. It's so amazing that the market still continuing up to this day and continue to evolve the offerings.

15minutes in and not a single fly in sight! no matter how delicious it is, if there are bugs about... eh, i'd pass. THIS i'd gladly pay for and recommend to others. 😊 aaah, everything looks good!

Even if there were flies, or other insects around,.why would it matter so much? Flies are protein, and most all insects are perfectly edible, & healthy for human consumption. Perhaps you don't realize the amount of rats that get chopped up in out peanut butter & catsup, among many other foods that are manufactured for consumption. Don't believe it, google it.. Enjoy your ratsup with your fries... lol

I used to work in Salcedo before, masarap yang japanese cake nila tapos mga barbque, fruit shakes, kakanin, mga ulam etc... although may kamahalan pero solve naman sa kainan 😋😋😋

Definitely SO MUCH CLEANER than ONGPIN WOW 😮 ONGPIN IS A MESS!!!!!!!!! this place here I see clean surroundings, food handled with gloves and clean utensils in cooking, everything is covered with plastic when it should be.... and most importantly, I see a lined trash can in every few yards!!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Theres a street food market in makati near the corner of makati and kalayaan avenues just behind the big hotels (Makati gardengrand hotels. The place looks dirty so are the food. My wife and her sister bought znd eat some, dinakdakan and got themselves(nag-tae nang di oras) we nevr went back to the place. Instead we just went to the nearby mcdonalds. We've been away from the country for so long that you become sanitised that you loose you immunity to patogens that lurks in the street food being sold. Make sure you eat food that is cooked properly. Never half cooked like kinilaw.

there is hardly anything so far i would not want to try..things look so fresh and clean..i'll take two of those fat summer non fried roll looking things for just walking food starters
