I was suggesting Batang Gilas coaching & management staffs before to let Tiffany Reyes play for the team to gain international experience early in her basketball career but i didn't expect her to be played in the U18 team. She is only 13 yrs old. But to my surprise she played very well. And was even d top 2 scorer in this game scoring 9 pts all in d last quarter only behind Villanueva who topscored for d team with 13 pts.

This Indonesian team is one of the best team if not the best that played against Gilas U18, as you could see in 1st quarter, they were able to outperform GILas team in rebound, they were able to outbox the Gilas players well, its obvious that Indonesian team were slightly taller if not taller. They were able to move the ball around, they have beautiful screens, their calm and collected. The only issue is that they just could not convert their open shots, three points shots. where as the GILas team, I am a Fil but I don't think they move the ball well in the first quarter. It seems that they are just predictable, the only reason they were able to gather points is their individual skills and swag that carried them forward and their speed in transition. But then this is basketball, not an individual game. First quarter all in all Indonesians are nice to watch. Thats my honest opinion. Thank you.

It seems you don’t follow this U18 Gilas girls’ team that much. Except for number 29, all the other four aren’t the real starters. Those four were bench players. The other four starters just came in near the end of the first quarter. Gilas girls were shorter but their were the better skilled basketball players. Ball movement and offensive plays were better after the first quarter. They weren’t predictable as you have said in your comment.
