I was stunned reading some of the comments here. Why is it a big deal if players are not pure filipinos, as long as they have filipino blood, even a drop, they can play. Is it really that much of a big deal guys? Yao ming is a chinese but played in an american basketball team. Its called strategy guys! Philippine team management found strong players, not pure but mixed, put them in the team, performed well, thats a good strategy if you'd ask me. Accept the fact that they made an amazing performance, regardless of race. We all came here to watch the match, not to debate on which race they belong to.

Police not give permission because too risk. From that, we wasting time too much. And about PSSI situation from reunion after split into two group, from this problem the league must accomodating the clubs from two side, so the league schedule becomes very dense. And from 2012 squad only two players i think, Maitimo and Syamsul Arif joint in this tournament. Togar Claudio yes, philippines allows multiple citizenship; it is allowed in our constitution. our citizenship is based on blood like indonesia but we are allowed to have multiple citizenship which is reflective of our culture and history of being a melting pot of different ethnicity and culture. as long as either one of your mother or father is filipino when you were born, our laws recognizes you as a filipino. also, when a filipino marries a foreigner, he/she retains filipino citizenship even if he/she acquires the foreign citizenship of his/her spouse. that is why children from abroad are considered filipinos as long as their mother or father is filipino. that is why filipinos are angry when you call them naturalized players because because they are not; they are filipinos from birth. no need for them to undergo legal process to attain citizenship or naturalization.

I'm starting to doubt the Educational System of Indonesia. It's 2014 already and most of its people still don't know what Naturalization is or applying it on a different context. I used to have such high regard for Indonesians as a people, but from what I've seen from reading comments here on KZbin and on Facebook, most of them are acting like complete illiterates. I feel sorry for those Indonesians who show class and act professionally here because they get dragged by their countrymen. If you (Indonesians) can't accept the fact that countries from our sub-continent are mostly multi-ethnic (e.g. Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia), then don't watch the AFF Suzuki Cup because you will only be disappointed. If you look at world football in general, especially in the recent World Cup in Brazil, most countries who participated are Multi-Ethnic. Even the Champions ,Germany, are composed of multi-ethnic players such as Podolski, Ozil,Khaderia, Gomez, Boateng etc... and there is nothing wrong with that because it's 2014 already and not 1800s anymore. Please let's stop this nonesense and enjoy the rest of the tournament instead.

No matter how much Indonesians and Malaysians hate each other over many issues particularly culture, the game between the two countries who curse each other in virtually the same language (bahasa Melayu and bahasa Indonesia) is always very entertaining and full of spirits. Filipinos and Indonesians can only debate each other in English, but Malaysians and Indonesians practically speak the same language and you should see they curse the shits against each other over many issues including football..

Indonesia team deliberately lost the match against Malaysia in the final because some Indonesian players were said to earn some money after the match (the first final match) from someone. The problem with Indonesia is the corruption in football federation and immorality of some players. Nowadays I've witnessed a significant improvement in their younger generation, but the national team still sucks. Hopefully these future children will help.

happens in the premiere league, happens in international football. Players complaining is counter-intuitive on the pitch given a referees decision is final. Everybody knows that. Get the job done, then express your opinion. Not the other way around. After all this is a game with rules, and it can be harshest at time. I do feel sorry for the Indonesian team but they should not have been napping when they were chasing the game.

paolo diano yeah im playing. in a right way referee should be penalizing the player that wasting time rather than go on with the freekick. it just kill the game dude. best example is when the referee should give a stern warning to a player that already have yellow card but instead giving another yellow just for a body contact. Dont be too excited dude. when it happen to your team you will fill the injustice being done. Im just being frank here.

FIFA Supposed to punish the referee and we were lucky if we didnt make because I know we will meet Thailand because Thailand os so Unbeateble at semifinal the last time we had this experience is at 2008.
