Now today if you give a company 43 years of service or even half that they want to get rid of you, that's your reward to get rid of you because now you become a liability and they want you gone. Man how times have changed. Nice video because it fascinates me as well for radio repair and that radio is beautiful!

Beautiful radio. Hope you can find time to get it up to perfection. This gentlemans channel, Electronics Old and New by M Caldeira, tackles many european made radios. He's very thorough and you may even find this radio or a similar model on his site.

Better yet, check out the Electronics Old and New channel hosted by a guy in Portugal who refurbishes a lot of vintage European radios. He posted a video recently about restringing a vintage Blaupunkt table radio.
