Hair straightener shall be switched off depending on heat / high temperature. Check heat released from straightener and use it wisely else it may damage your hairs.

The normal straightening will only last based on your hair type on ways of maintaining it after straightening dear. If you don't wash your hair, normal straightening can keep your hair straight for about two to three days.
