This demonstration has been sped up a fair bit, having said that, if this mid/top range juicer can’t handle those fruits like advertised then it’s not worth it. It is a review after all, take it how you wish. You are welcome btw.

@@hackerton777 Philip, this is what I call him, is awesome! He is still doing his job. Don't like soft fruits and berries, but can handle all kinds of harder fruits and vegetables. Even carrots, potatoes, I make almond milk with him. Soak them over night and grind it next morning. The customer service is great. Quick response as one of the parts were broken. They wanted pictures and sended me a new one. Would absolutely recommend this baby!

I have decided to buy it,becoz if a machine can bear a torture well like this, it is going to be an asset. Thanks for improving our trust in brand PHILIPS ! Edit: Bought it. The only negative i felt is , it is not meant to extract juices from hard veg like carrots n beets. It extracts those juices also , but pulp retain 40%of juice in that case. Where as fruits like citrus , musambi , pineapple, apples etc are done perfectly. Thick juice for them.

Yes, high watt sentrifugal juicers are better for those. But then you get lots of oxygen in your juice.

This juicer is incredibly slow so I did you a favour and sped it up, it handles hard fruits well as you can see. It’s easy to clean and is well built. The down side, pulp is still very moist. You could probably use it as a salad. It feels like such a waste throwing it away. Its not cheap to buy. There’s are better juices out there

It is a slow juicer of 150W so yes you do not have to keep stuffing ingredients, if you have a habit of stuffing ingredients in the juicer than buy a 500w centrifugal juicer and not a cold pressed juicer

We have the older model of Philips HR1830 with similar design. It produce squeaking sound after juicing for a while and need to clean the pulp b4 continue to juice again. Pulp also not complete dry n still wet. Quite disappointed.

Bought this machine today. I am going return tomorrow morning. It doesn't make juice, that pure smoothie. Ends are wasted as never pushed through when finished. Strugling, and pusher looks like not designed for that model. Waste fruit chips are more moist, than after rotary juicer. Not recommended !
