Unfortunately back in ,20 I had an IVC filter implanted and since then I was told the filter was tilted and the hook on top was embedded in the vein could this device still safely remove my filter? I was gonna go to John's Hopkins in 20 to see if they could do it but this all happened at the height of COVID and hospitals were closing I may still try

Maybe I should ask a different way my question is is the laser sheath capable of removing an ivc filter if the hook is embedded?

I have ivc filter in me for 16 years I try t take out 2 years ago by my neck dint work t many teasuces???? now what!!!!!!

I have a stuck ivc filter in me right now and I was told the retrieval hook is embedded in my vena cava can the laser sheath remove my filter in that kind of situation please respond

to be removed the hook needs to be upright like mone is fortunately it didn't tilt it's been there 12 years.
