Hello, I know this is an old video but my beloved Philips PerformerExpert just started to sound weird and want to change the motor, maybe with a one from PerformerPro 2200w. But I don't know how to find the motor name or any specification. Can you help me? Thanks and great videos!

@@insigs7502 I don't know what the motor type is in this PerformerPro. Hard to guess without taking the vacuum apart. Changing different size motor to a vacuum is hard to do. You will most likely need to fabricate custom adapters for it and there is a possibility that the motor is too big for the vacuum. Also electrical problems may occur if the motor is different wattage.

@vacuumtests9225 Thanks so much for sharing your insights! I really appreciate the heads-up about the challenges, especially the part about custom adapters and potential electrical issues. If you have any suggestions on where I could start or any resources you’d recommend to learn more about motor compatibility for vacuums like the PerformerPro, I'd love to hear them. I’m a bit out of my depth, so any extra guidance would be super helpful! Cheers!

@@insigs7502 I have just taken the vacuum apart and trying to fit motor what I have in hand. Sometimes I had to make different gaskets, metal mounts from old motor, cutting plastic from inside of the vacuum and a lot more. What it comes to electrical problems high wattage motor can burn your house electrical panel fuse, it can overheat the vacuum and make it shut down. I never used any resources because I don't have any. Every vacuum is unique and every motor change is risk taking. You newer know until you start doing it. А Ultra Long Performance -- 5 литров.
