Philips Smart Door lock Complete Full Setup and Installation

I purchased this unit with all the extra accessories. The door open/close sensor instructions are incorrect. I 1st thought it was supposed to be installed on the door but the instructions should have said the door jamb. Also the bit size for the door sensor is 1/2” not 5/8” as the instructions state. I also installed the optional screw to securely attach the outdoor attachment. This is a great unit and works well

I need help with the Delay Lock. Auto-lock works fine after calibration, but delay lock is greyed out. Recalibrated numerous times and Delay Lock still greyed out, make no sense.

Very good video, thank you. How do you get the lock to show in the app? I’m trying to add device and it doesn’t seem able to read the QR code. Not sure how it happened automatically for you!

Make sure you scan the QR code on the inside if the battery slide plate and NOT the inside of the lock that faces the door. You also have to snap in the electrical wire from both side of the lock for the device to be active.

Yes u don’t need an app to install and setup its fairly easy just follow instruction booklet that comes with it.

You made several omissions. It looks like the screw to attach the back piece to the door are cheap steel instead of brass, that is very bad. It also look like the tailpiece from the deadbolt slides connects to a plastic receiver knob? Also very bad. If the deadbolt is also from philips (which it is) it must be steel, never plastic. I was going to buy this lock, but after seeing your video, it does not seem to be a very good unit.
