The coffee taste on the output is the same, at least to my taste buds. I tried the same beans, did similar grind settings and honestly I can't feel the difference. One thing I noticed about the brew group, on dinamica it spits out pucks almost dry (which is a good thing) while on Philips pucks are moist. So technically brew group on Dinamica has better pressure on it, but when it comes to the taste - no difference. So I decided to go with ease of maintenance for lattes and picked Philips. Please use one of our affiliated links to buy one, helps us run the channel at no cost to you!

@RomanDoes2 ай бұрын
not mechanically. I've seen people saying they experiment with milk temperature, lukewarm milk will make warmer froth and won't cool drink as much, colder milk out of the fridge will cool down your drink. Others were saying they pre-heat the cup, which is way to complex and you might as well get a professional manual machine for your situation :)

I’m looking for a bean to cup machine. I came across to see Philips Lattego vs Delonghi Magnifica S. Price is quite different between the two models. Normally I’d drink Americano, however latte from time to time. Would you still recommend Lattego?
@RomanDoes3 ай бұрын
@nitiwadeechanasongkram3480 anything to do with milk is easier to clean with Philips LatteGo. So for me being one lazy ass when it comes to dishes and cleaning overall, I kept the Philips machine, though I liked milk froth better on the Delonghi. Even for occasional milk drinks, I think Delonghi managed to overengineer the milk mechanism

Hi, what do you think of the grinding system on philips? We have one philips machine in our family and i noticed that delonghi is way quieter in terms of grinding the coffee beans than the philips one. Although we have the philips 2200 series but compared to the delonghi magnifica s, the philips has way too loud grinding system in my opinion. Thank you for your answer.
@RomanDoes Жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say there is a big difference, you would have to put both machines at least side by side in the same spot to really test it for your setup. In my case I don't recall grinder noise being an issue.

@isaacmubanda3753 I never dealt with it, I'd say look into commercial grade machines something similar but smaller like they in coffee shops. Main reason why this is a bad idea in my opinion to use these is the cleaning. These will take a lot of time to maintain. I'd rather get something like this for a coffee shop and do cleaning on a spot than deal with any of these automatic ones as they will get messy.

Hi, Roman Is there any differences between Saeco And Philips machine. If we compare philips 5400 and Saeco GranArome, Which machine can make better espresso or milk froth ?
@RomanDoes4 ай бұрын
@sovrano111 hey! I cannot say much about Saeco as I haven't tried it, but Philips owns it and if you watch Saeco machine maintenance video it shows that the brew group mechanism is the exact same brew group you get with Philips machines. Bought and used both machines. Phillips construction is what you pay for, cheap, like a kids toy. De longhi is sturdy and elegant. As far as espresso goes, Phillips is mud water. De longhi has the aroma and caffeine content, the whole reason to splurge in an automatic machine for busy people. Maintenance is a bliss when you have durable parts. Again, de longhi wins by far.
@RomanDoes23 күн бұрын
great input! I would just add this: For a true coffee maniac (in a good way), both of these machines won't give you anything close to what a barista style machine can do. If you prefer your coffee black or take espresso, then maybe you should consider Delonghi LaSpecialista machine instead: amzn.to/4gePU9C

Seeing many reviews of Philips vs DeLonghi I miss a lot of info here, that says in favour of DeLonghi. Philips is inferior in almost every way but user interface. DeLonghi has larger coffee puck, better grinder, better coffee extraction, much better silky milk, cold extraction... sorry, but Philips is no match at all. For better quality with Philips you should grab a Saeco Xelsis series, but even that at double price.. not sure if it matches DeLonghies.
@RomanDoesАй бұрын
@igorsajn6246 how is saeco different? It's the same machine inside as Philips, just different branding. All info you mentioned about Delonghi is in the video. Philips is faster and easier on maintenence when it comes to milk. If you don't drink milk and can spend double the time making your coffee then better get barista style machine. That will beat the automatic machine any day
@igorsajn6246Ай бұрын
@ Philips branded low and medium coffee machines with Philips brand while kept Saeco brand for top tier machines. I guess it's all Saeco under the hood. And it's not just the milk that is different, also coffee. Philips takes almost half less coffee into one portion, so intensity is much lower then with DeLonghi. But agree the Philips' milk mug is smaller, more convenient and easier to wash and store. But that can hardly be the decisive factor for a new machine. As isn't a better UI and mobile app. And yes - myself am more of a do-it-manually (esp. milk froth) guy.
