I hope that the cat who was very ill was able to recover or passed away quickly without pain. All the people and animals of Ukraine are in my thoughts.

The woman with the 15 cats is a saint. Most of them seemed to have health issues of some sort and she still gave them a home when they needed it. Then, when the chips were down, she didn’t leave them behind when fleeing the country. That’s a dedicated pet owner. I hope that her and all the cats are safe and found a place to stay.
