@@d0sxxgaming94 I think your best bet is splitting your ZL and Hermann in the likes of ZL/phil and Hermann/ysg if he’s 3x relic. Just try it, and you’ll see 😎 I’m a happy dude

I am using 5 marches, Zhughe/hermen, Huo/William, navsky/joan, Scipio/liu, shajar/ysg.. So Arthur is already in my plan, but I am confused with the second swap. I don't have any city garrison though.

Very tiny and sort of irrelevant correction: Philip's expertise have no synergy with Zhugeliang's 4th/Expertise. Zhu skills are very poorly written; first, the 4th only procs on the secondary's active skill, AND can only procs once per skill cycle (tested with Joan back before Philip was released). Other than that, thank you for the video.

Does phillip's active (40% damage boost) work on shajar's active which is true damage?

Yes, but it is still lower damage than running her as skill damage because true damage is extremely weak as a concept atm

I only have 1 archer march in my lineup and now I am thinking of doing ZL/Phillip instead of ZL/Herman since Phillip is more future proof. Any issues with that strategy?

Already invested in him expertised, his talent tree gives 18% healing boost which is very good for true damage commander. However, I'll wait for next archer commander since Shajar has no AOE but she's truly working the best with him right now. Ability to cast active skill twice means you will deal healing and true damage twice + it will trigger her 3rd skill too.

@ Agree, it’s crazy that Lilith introduces True Damage mechanic but both its openfield/mge commander can’t compliment each other unlike Gorgo/LC when smite making its debut. Heck even when they introduces combo mechanic at least Arthur has combo tree. So far I don’t see any commander that can bring Shajar’s true damage potential except Philip. The next archer should’ve come with true damage tree. That being said anyone who want to invest in true damage commander should start revising their equipments and armaments (attack and all damage stats are now so important).

You tell me what you think, Cortex... but I just expertised phil, and he is INSANE with ZL. I was originally running zl with herman, but I think what I'm going to do now is run zl/phil and hermann/3x relic ysg 🤔 I'll still get my poison stacks, some tankiness from the support tree, and a huge buff in skill damage from ysg. PLUS, phil will be in field beefing the daylights out of my zl 😎 way tankier, and the double procs are just insane
