Nice! Most rok content makers are not considering that maybe f9r low spenders and f2p- if you are using liu che alex ,swap alex for phillip... you get a little less attack, but your gain more buffs, rage reduction,instant proc aoe and a super versatile commander. These factors make up for alex 3 target damage taken debuff .

19:00 Ok so I think there are a few things not fully correct here: ZL does not fire his actice skill again, he only procs his Marquis Zhongwu effect and does aoe damage every other skill cycle. Therefore the reasoning, that philip doesn't pair with him due to him already triggering more active skills doens't apply and it just helps him fire his 4th skill more often, since it has no cooldown. Same goes for Hermann. Even though he does fire of more active skills at 25 poison stacks, this happens so rarely in the field, that it will not interfer with philips extra skills and will just benefit hermann getting more stacks on the enemies. The only real commander, were there is a countersynergy with philip is joan, since she fires of two skills every other cycle.

Yes anytime the Marquios effect or Hermann's stacks with triggering the active, anytime those fire off, it delays the rage active of the primary commander. Those effects, if they trigger during Phillip expertise, will delay. We can test more and confirm but from what I have seen that is the case.

With the ZL marquis skill, I am relatively sure, that it is not counted as an active skill and can trigger on the same turn as a real active skill from philip or zl

So the only real option for archers is Ashurbanipal? I want to use Philipp II as primary, heard he works well with Zhuge and Shajar, too. Though Shajar seems more like a duel pair. Guess I'll use mainly Philipp II with Liu and for cavs Arthur might be the safest investment, though there seems to be good synergy with Wilhelm. Don't have Ash yet, but considering my archers are 1111 anyways, I might go for him if he is better than Zhuge for open field mono archers behind Philipp

Keep Hermann away from Phillip. Double cast on Hermann messes up the rage cycle with Phillip double casting. Do the opposite. ZL/Phillip and Hermann ash

I don't think Zhuge has anything that would cause him to double cast his skill or am I wrong? I was planning to run the two of them together. He does have things that cause extra direct damage but since it's not a cast of the primary skill I didn't think that would effect the skill cycle.

40% of the time it is Phillip re-casting. 20% of the time it is the other commander. So Phillip expertise will fire on average 60% of the time it is not in cooldown.

I'm surprised that Chad skipped it when discussing his talent tree or he missed it because most people ignore True Damage. See some tests and Philips/Shajar looks promising, definitely a great buffing march.

@@AzzamAbuJbara you’re right the attack should increase the percentage of how much heal strength gets converted to true damage but I think all damage would still give you more return because you already get 80% of the 2000 heal factor converted at baseline. Would have to confirm with VIP support if all damage actually does affect it though

@@AzzamAbuJbara I just tested it in expedition. Philip/Shajar with mix troops and then only archers. All damage with only archers definitely increases Shajar’s True Damage. So all that would be left to determine is if the additional attack to increase the 1600-2000 factor heal conversion brings more final damage than All Damage. You can only increase the 80% to 100% conversion I think so 2000 damage factor maximum.

Yes but when the Marquis effect procs, it delays any skill damage that was supposed to fire. So there is some issues there. But honestly from Zhuge, probably not so much that anyone can really tell. I think Zhuge can be a pairing.
