ITV Management knew of the "rumours" since 2019, but covered up this highly "unethical" and sordid matter to protect the "brand(s)", similar to BBC management with Saville, Harris and Glitter earlier. Holly, knowing the above rumours about Pip which were common knowledge for years among her team, and following the guilty verdict of Pip's 54-year-old brother Tim last month, 12 year prison sentence for 11 sexual offences involving a child, took steps to protect her own brand and distanced herself from Pip. The lying, the deflection, the feigned ignorance to limit the damage to the principals ensued. No one in ITV management have given a fleeting thought to the young man's welfare or their legal duty of care to him.

@@onewithsource9742 Simply because if Eamon discovered the relationship was occurring when the kid was 19, all he could do would be express distaste at the fact that Philip was cheating on his wife. You can dislike someone for that but you can’t get them fired and you certainly can’t call the protection of a child into question - because as an 18 year old - he was classed as an adult. Hell, you can also know someone who is 15 and then legally have sex with them when they become of age. Now granted, that is horrifically creepy to do that - especially as Philip was in his 50’s at the time - but if he only had sexual relations with him once he was over the age of consent, all you can have is an extremely strong dislike for the guy. It all depends when and what Eamon found out 🤷‍♂️

Where is the proof that Schofield "groomed" the young man, when Schofield himself says that it exclusively was a friendship until the young man had reached the age of legal consent? Where is "proof" of a unforgivably immoral or illegal behaviour on Schofield's part, let alone a "crime"? I haven't seen it yet, and doubt that it will ever be seen. Remember, a crime is only a crime when a criminal act was committed, and when the criminal act is proven.
