@@onewithsource9742 Simply because if Eamon discovered the relationship was occurring when the kid was 19, all he could do would be express distaste at the fact that Philip was cheating on his wife. You can dislike someone for that but you can’t get them fired and you certainly can’t call the protection of a child into question - because as an 18 year old - he was classed as an adult. Hell, you can also know someone who is 15 and then legally have sex with them when they become of age. Now granted, that is horrifically creepy to do that - especially as Philip was in his 50’s at the time - but if he only had sexual relations with him once he was over the age of consent, all you can have is an extremely strong dislike for the guy. It all depends when and what Eamon found out 🤷‍♂️
