2011 Honda CR-V Rear Hatch Won't Open

This 2011 Honda CR-V was brought in to diagnose the rear lift gate or Hatch not opening. The problem turned out to be a broken wire to the left rear door lock knob switch. The wire was broken in the flexible boot between the door and B pillar. This open wire simulated the lock knob switch being in the locked position and caused the MICU to not open the latch.
