That’s a very nice man cave you have there Phil, thanks for showing us around 👍🏻 on the tool front I would recommend a jointer planer, I bought the screw fix Titan last year and I’m really pleased with it. It’s ideal for the hobby woodworker like myself; great for tidying up pallet and other reclaimed wood . Keep the videos coming mate there always very informative 👍🏻

Than you very much 👍🏻 I actually keep looking at the Titan planer thicknesser. I do plan on getting it maybe this year. It seems like a good bargain so thanks for recommending it to me. Doesn't look too big either.

@@PhillWyattProjects one thing to consider if buying a planer jointer is they do throw a lot of chips / dust out so you really need a decent dust / chip extractor, I bought the sheppach with 4 inch hose, it works brilliant with it hardly any mess left, but buying the extractor all adds to the cost, but I would’nt like to run my Titan without the extractor

@@yorkshirelad9695 I was thinking about that and the Titan is the one I was considering getting. I had an idea to only use it outside and mount it on a moveable base with wheels. That would help with the dust issue although I am not sure how practical it might be.

Thank you for the excellent tour of your mancave,i have been pricing up to build one but put it on holed at moment because of the price of timber,i may just look around for old timber and build one once i have collected enough

Thanks 👍🏻 yes I know what you mean I built mine before the prices went up dramatically which was lucky for me. I was paying £2 for a length of 2x3 back then. I think it's double the price now. Hope you can find some good deals on wood and salvage some too. 👍🏻

Shedology : ) thanks for giving me the inspiration to build my own next year as mine is too bijou. Did you cost it out at all?
@PhillWyattProjects2 жыл бұрын
I built it in 2019 so prices were lower back then. I made a video on the cost a while ago here is the video:kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJOmZqlngr-giJo
