I cried tears of joy when we won. I didn’t ever think I’d see it happen in my lifetime. My twin brother who also bled green passed away 7 months before we finally won and I just wished he could’ve seen it. I had his ashes with me the whole game. I love you Mikey

Wow! A lot of people are mad on the internet about our celebration! However, this is about more than people setting off fireworks, climbing poles, and burning couches in the streets. This is about a community that unites under a single cause. Us Eagles fans have struggled through years of being close, but never going all the way. Week after week players like Sproles, Peters, Hicks and Wentz got injured, and everyone said our season was over. We were the underdogs in every playoff game as the top seed in the NFC. Everyone counted us out and we freaking beat the Patriots to win it all. After years of disappointment, Eagles fans had a chance to rejoice. It was not just a crazy night of rioting, it was a night that brought the city together. COPS were even a part of it. I saw one cop smoking a cigar and filming someone set off fireworks, and another one was taking selfies and high fiving everyone that passed him. Although it was chaos, it was a great night for the city.

Yeah I know what you mean. I went to the city after I posted this yesterday and it was pretty much all cleaned up, so it overall wasn't too bad. Some of the stuff people did was def a little uncalled for, but nobody died and overall there was not too much damage done to the city. And hey the argument we would have rioted if we lost is kind of irrelevant, because we did win, and at UMass they did riot after the Patriots lost.
