I feel the first guy standing outside. I didn’t watch the last four minutes of the game because I went outside to smoke and we started doing good then I went back in and we started doing bad, then it happened again so I just stood outside on the porch until it was over. I had to go off the yells of my dad and his neighbors across the street to know if something was happening and then lean in the door to check. Unlike Kyle though my superstition seemed to work lol

This is just so wild to me. I’m an Eagles fan. When the game ended on that holding call last year I just shut the TV off and went about my life. Thinking about it more though I might have been more emotional if we hadn’t won in 2017. I went 35 years of my life waiting for that. Turns out Dallas and SF keep getting reminded it’s hard to win with a salary cap in place and you can’t buy championship caliber teams. Having Brady, then Mahomes in the league as generational talents has been wild so far.

As a Chiefs fan this is fun to watch but I do feel bad for these fans. We have been through the exact same thing in SB55. We put so much into our fandom that it feels real and in a lot of cases it is real. 49er fans have nothing to hang their heads about. I thought last year’s SB was close, this one was waaaayyy closer. 9ers had a stacked roster but essentially a first full year QB. Nothing to be ashamed of.
