Dr. Crystal Edwards looks like someone with a lot of wisdom and experience in life, and doesn't shy away to role up her sleeves and do the work, even if she has to put personal money on the line. Now that's commendable. Our society is so much driven by being or appearing successful. Often people are keeping up appearances while crumbling inside. What we all need sometimes is a shoulder to lean on, someone to show us the way, a small word of compassion, someone asking you if you're alright. Those little acts of compassion change can change a whole life, even a whole family. We all have the moral obligation to accommodate each-other within our scope to do so. Even if you're in a bad spot yourself, one small word or gesture doesn't cost anything.

We can. But when it blindsides you it can be hard, confusing and frightening not so much for you but for your babies because you want what’s best for them but you have to be on the right track first. And getting there, at least so far, is hard.
