Jalen had a great game , I do agree that he has been missing simple reads, holding the ball to long and that's been issues he's had since his college days but he looked in the zone yesterday and I hope we get more of this hurts , making the reads , getting rid of the ball , in rhythm and making plays

Not so fast with the Hurts praise. If people actually study the game instead of watch the game they will see that the Bengals made it easy for Hurts. They didn't blitz Hurts until the fourth Quarter, and they were down by 10. And by that time the Eagles were running the ball and trying to run the clock down. For three Quarters the Bengals sent four pass rushers to beat five blockers for the Eagles. Then on top of that, they sent them just to contain Hurts in the Pocket . Hurts is exposed with pressure, but The bengals didn't even blitz him until the fourth and they were never going to get to pressure rushing four guys against five while asking them to also contain him inside the pocket. Hurts problems weren't answered with yesterday's game. I get it. Fans want Hurts to be 2022 Hurts and gain confidence that he'll take the Eagles back to Super Bowl. Well yesterdays game wasn't a sign that his issues are gone. Hurts should thank the Bengals coordinator for not blitzing and somehow only sending four pass rushers to beat five Eagles blockers. Hurts was treated to a Spa Day by the Bengals' Defensive coordinator.

Evan, Nolan was in containment on that pass to Chase on their 1st drive. He wasn't actually in coverage although it looks like he was. Play was breaking down. Nolan was simply in space after Burrow started to scramble outside of the pocket , which made it look as if Nolan was in coverage on Chase. Another great video. Even better win. If Isaiah Rodgers can be penciled in as the starter opposite to Quinyon Mitchell, then this defense is going to be dangerous for years to come. Isaiah Rodgers, Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, CJ Gardner-Johnson, and Reed Blankenship are all young guys, and I see great potential with this unit. Q and Coop were considered 1st round talents in this last draft, Rodgers has shown to have gifted speed, and CJ has brought back the swagger to the secondary to compliment Blankenship. This group has the potential to challenge the Legion of Boom. That's how confident I feel in these guys, we already see the upgrade after putting Coop on the field in place of Maddox, now Slay needs to take a step back and let the young talent flourish together. Wouldn’t count your chickens yet. Bengals are not a good team, despite having some very good talent. They are managed extremely poorly. The Bengals had zero pass rush all day (and season) so even a mediocre QB could find an open receiver. The Bengals have no secondary and didn’t stop the Eagles from scoring in 2nd half. I wouldn’t say this is evidence of an Eagles offensive juggernaut; rather, it’s further evidence of the Bengals being a very poor defense (they’re at the bottom of the league). I’m glad you showed the stop on 4th and one. A perfect example of Zak Taylor yet again making another horrible 4th down play call. I mean, who throws a swing pass behind the line of scrimmage on this play? No one with half a brain but Taylor has done so repeatedly this year on 4th downs that have cost them at 2 games.
