I Lived Angeles City in the 70's under martial Law, with the Marcos Presidency. I recognize nothing , obviously. The streets had very little concrete back then ! The traffic/population activity is hard to adjust to my memory. Amazing ! Really appreciate "The Walks" Brian ! You bring back quite an impression on my memory ! Ask Lut if she knows Louog and Bagio City ? Great job. I appreciate your faithful providing of so many vid's ! Very nice family sir. Keep em coming please.

Most cities in the Philippines have a similar look. Tight streets, small sidewalks with vendors. My favorite is the open markets. Love the Jeepney's in Metro- Manila and Angeles City. Not just a novelty, but a workhorse. Good video!

Not an american but somehow i think i can help to answer...if u have no kids & u dont spend more than $200 per month in PI...u can grow old there not even paying any medical insurance or any brainwashed insurances u know😥...there in PI, u can live cheaply as u could & would still live comfortable😇 ...learn to blend in,leave ur american ways if u want to live in PI🇵🇭...live simply & u would surely see it clearly😇👍

In Philippines they have a pawnshop culture, if you need money you first ask for money, then ask for something you can borrow and pawn. My fiances mom have payed for one of her sons pawned wedding ring for over 2 years, so she soon payed same amount as they cost from the start. I get a bit irritated when my fiance tell, x come and ask to borrow my rings to pawn but will pay me back in 3 months with a extra bag of rice, and she already know it wont be 3 months it will be closer to 9 months and the woman that ask is her dads ex mistress that she hates. Im sure its a cultural thing i just cant understand. In Sweden most people dont even know a person that have pawned anything and have never even been inside a pawnshop.
