Maybe I need to give whatnot a try but to me it just seems like whatnot would be a hassle to have to schedule shows and hope there are viewers for your items at that specific time. I don't think anybody ever talks about whatnot and how some stuff either doesn't sell or just sells for 99c. There has to be some stuff that doesn't sell. But I'm not social. I feel like 99% of whatnot is not the items it's the social aspect. It's tiktok with sales.

I have a buyer who bought a item and wants to return it after the 30 day return policy. Would you take the item back or just take the negative feedback then try to have it removed? Do you have any sage advise on the situation?

There's no doubt eBay has become extremely obnoxious with BS. Buyers know all they have to do is open an item not as described and bamboozle a partial refund or return. I've had board game reach day 29 and a return open. They "rent" items for a month. It's very annoying. I've had so many bogus claims like this. Way more than any prior year. Amazon ruined the game with returns for any reason and eBay followed suit in FOMO. Unfortunately this has become a part of the game. Unfortunately I don't have the time or resources to doing daily shows on What Not.

Just take a break I have been selling on eBay since 1998 wow has it changed but I still only get my big sales on there I agree it does burn you out I have not liked eBay since seller dashboard and the return policy I just deal with it but I wish you the best of luck I have never sold on what not just don’t have the space

Whatnot has golf club category so I still grab those… and it also has power tools category but I haven’t tested that market yet. But I usually grab them if they’re cheap and list them on FB local for like 30% below ebay value and sell them There

@@PhillyPhlipper I doubt those are the reason, I think you are getting preferential treatment there and Whatnot is pumping or directing traffic to you when you are on. So you are probably getting over 100 people in your stream and that means there usually at least several interested in any item you run.

I stopped listing like you and now I have a huge deathpile I need to do do something but I will find my way . But if it takes a whole year to sell it $300 item versus that same out item selling it for $50 but yet you had that same item maybe times 5 in a long run you're making more money because you're selling more You're still making more than what you paid for it but you're selling more.. The more you sell the more you make. You might get more on eBay but if it doesn't sell fast then really you're not making as much as you think you would. Obviously look at his numbers he's doing awesome.😊😊😊

Just my opinion but I think being successful on WN or any live selling platform requires more than bringing good items to shows. I think personality and how you interact with your buyers is so important!
