The reason they can keep the price low is because they don’t carry sports and local channels and those have carriage fees that have to be passed on to the customer. That’s not a route Philo is willing to take.

This is fire!! I'm with spectrum right now and paying close to $60 for streaming because of the broadband fee. Which is for basic news channels and sports which I don't watch. I'm definitely switching to this!

Hi. I just signed up for philo today. And I’m disappointed and sad that they don’t have any of the Disney channels. I love the Disney channels. And I’m 16 years old. And I really hope philo adds all of the Disney channels

DIY became the Magnolia Network so that was a name rather than a content change. Discovery had that in the works for sometime but it got delayed.

I have only 3 mgs internet speed right now but could get faster if I can save $ from dishtv. So would 3 mgs work if watched on dvr only? Does Philo have good audio like dish? Is Plilo 1080?

Now there's actually 70 channels although it still says 60+. And since the price increase, they've added 10 free channels. So technically it's 80 channels for 25.

yeah but of the 80 or so maybe 20 are any good.

@@JoseOrtiz-pp1vm Nah. More than that. I actually just looked through the channel list just to see how many good ones there are in my opinion. I ended up with 9 really great channels, 28 good channels and 6 okay channels and the rest of em being filler channels. For me, the really good ones are the true crime channels, some of the documentary channels and the classic TV channels. So for me at least, the $25 is well worth it.

@@JoseOrtiz-pp1vm No, we don't. For $25, I don't expect more. On regular cable, the ratio is about the same, but a lot more pricey and many more filler channels and junk. With Philo, only about 20 of them are filler (for me). But one man's treasure is another man's trash. Just because I do not watch the Weather Channel, Nickelodeon and Animal Planet, doesn't mean other people do.

Yes works good wish it had a mini guide though instead of the guide taking up the whole screen. But 1 year dvr is nice. Dvr fast forward is nice a lot of times you click right arrow once and right over the commercials nice feature and how a dvrcshould work you should not even see the commercials in the thumbnail if you dvr the show. But for $25 and another $3 to get reelz channel bot bad
