I’m buying one of these this week off a local seller, and I’m SO excited! I wanted to order one, but it’s winter where I am & a week of shipping through these temps can ruin a plant. But I’m afraid if I wait longer, the prices will keep going up, since it’s still so popular & currently is the lower end of expensive. I’m so thankful for the opportunity!

@@RoseysGreenery 1k lang naman Ms. Rosey, but still expensive for an 8 months old plantita hahaha i kind of realized somehow na hanggang 3 lang yung dahon nung sakin because the pot is kinda small? Parang kapag may 3rd leaf, the oldest one would yellow na. Might repot it when i get a bigger pot.

I sometimes use the burned wood charcoal from when we bbq ( not store bought coals, we burn actual wood from local forest/gardens) for pots and borders. it seems to help keeping the dirt airy. ☺

I prefer that the leaves of the Philodendron face only one direction, it's beautiful to see when the whole plant is looking at you.

Nainggit ako sa plant mo. I also bought a gloriosum almost a year ago pero chinop ko kagad para dumami tapos nung lumipat kami ng house natumbahan yung mother plant ng upuan. nabali most of its leaves so ngayon 3 leaves lang ulit siya. I hope in a few months maging lush na ulit siya. Have been watching your videos and really enjoying them. Will look forward to your future videos.

I love my gloriosum. Although kept indoors facing a North facing window, I get new leaves every couple of months. I'm thinking if I should move it outside sa front yard, still North facing but gets a lot more consistent light the whole day without direct sun kaso baka magtampo??? Have you experienced that?

Your pot should be wide rather than deep. Gloriosum is a crawler, meaning it grows horizontally in the rainforest undergrowth, which is unlike its relatives Melanochrysum and Glorious which are both climbers and likes a pot that’s deep than wide.

My gloriosum grows sideways not bushy in the middle like you, how you do that when u pot it?

Gloriosums are crawlers, so them growing sideways is probably just the natural growth habit of the plant. If you want a more bushy plant may cut it and propagate it in the same pot to keep it compact.
