Very helpful. Thank you! Love the illustrations and simple explanations. For folks moving from the world of climbing/ vining philodendrons into this whole crawling situation... your quick little video has me feeling empowered! 🪴 ☀ ♥

This video was incredibly helpful, thank you! I have a bunch of philodendrons but this is my first gloriosum. Can't wait to see this baby grow. Love your calming, happy, peaceful vibes. It's like we're hanging out talking plants together. 💕

Thanks for the video! Very informative for a noob like me! Your illustrations btw is very good and supports the explanation! I recently obtained a gloriosum, wanted to know where should I expect the new growth to shoot out from? Will it be from the same side as the previous growth? Ill make sure not to stab any bread anytime soon though! 🙊 Keep up the good work fellow aussie plant lover!

You're welcome Kevin! I hope your Philodendron Gloriosum flourishes and grows~ Yes it grows one-way/one-direction so it should pop a new leaf from the same direction as the previous growth. Haha, Absolutely! I'll try to curb all bread stabbing urges too XD

ugh I have a gloriosum thats growing well, but its two oldest and smallest leaves have yellowed a bit on the point of the leaf's edges, I assume overwatering, but I feel like it could be underwatering as well, because I tend to underwater, I stick my finger in there and there is still a little moisture so I was just going to wait until its dryer, I also considered that I could have watered too much in the past and I'm doing it correctly now....if only plants could talk

How about the humidity?
@plantspoetry3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jayl, the humidity here is consistently around 50-60%, because I live in quite a tropical area in Australia. But I have found that giving my Gloriosum even higher humidity helped encourage the slow leaf growth to go slightlyyyy faster
