very interesting, great to see this in so much detail the only thing i am struggling to understand is why you would attemt to do 2 different crosses on one inflorescence when there are so many others coming, establishing which cross took will take much longer and be very much in doubt won't it?

You can use a hair dryer to pre-dry your petri dish.

Thank you so much for doing this video! About how long from the time the inflorescence opened until it is female receptive? About how long does that “window” last to make an attempt at pollinating it? I’m really hoping that you answer these questions and soon to help make this video even more informative and useful, as my gloriosum is blooming now and I would love to try to pollinate it. Thank you again!

Why apply two types of male donors and spread all over ? Will it be better half do and other on the half 🤔

Or, since there are many inflorescences, try them on another. Then it may be possible the F1 offspring will not be phenotypically observable but crossing it again may produce the desired results. That may take several tries and recording the differences is essential.

Hi, my philodendron finally bloomed. This is my first time doing the pollination, it is very waxy(sticky) and brown colored. Is it not ready or too late or?...
