Hey! I'm glad I found this video again. I also have a tall philodendron white princess just like you and was about to cut it. Phew, I will just let it be 😊 I would have regret so much. Was thinking of cutting because there are some active grow points that just seem to be sleeping. Wanted to cut to get a fuller plant. But nah, not now, Will let it be. Yes. I don't have to think more about it. Beautiful plants you've got. Easy going video. Nice! Have a nice day. All the best from Oslo, Norway

💚Hi Marte, thanks for your comment I really appreciate it. Trust me walk past mine and think about chopping it. It's outgrown it's pole🤦♀️after reading your comment I might not cut it and just find another spot for it. Glad you like my video 💚hope all is well where you are!?
@marteteigen49352 жыл бұрын
@@Houseplantpixie and thank you. Right now I look at it and wants to chop the top of. Always looking for a plant project. Same here, outgrown it's bamboo stick. I need to buy a bigger one. And also the grow points I see doesn't really grow. So if I cut the top off maybe I will get side shoots (if you know what I mean).

Excellent video, very informative! Your philodendron white princess is beautiful. Is the larger plant growing on the pole also a white princess? How did you get it to grow so big?
@Houseplantpixie3 жыл бұрын
💚🌿thanks for your comment. It was just growing (from a one leaf cutting) could be the additional light that helped with the growth

Hi I love your plants! They look gorgeous. What is the taller one on the right? Is he a White Knight or a White Wizard? 😃

I bought a 3 leaf cutting from a lady in Dalyellup for$15, back in Feb. It's now growing good and it has a new leaf, finally. Do you know what's the difference between the W.Princess and W.Knight??how to tell them apart or they are the same plant??
@Houseplantpixie3 жыл бұрын
Hi💚🙂and welcome to my channel.... great question. You tell them apart if you look at the petioles (where the leaf attaches to its stem) if that is Red it's a White Knight if it's green it's a White Princess 🌿great price for your plant.

Hello! What kind of soil mixture did you mention that you like to use? And how old is the tall white princess that you showed?
@Houseplantpixie3 жыл бұрын
Hello hun🌿 the soil mixture I use is in one of my other videos (hopefully you can find it) it's roughly 2yrs old. Do you have a Philodendron white princess?
@letitbleed753 жыл бұрын
Ok, I’ll look for it! And yes!! I just got her, but she’s tiny and is still in the nursery pot.

Hey not sure if you remember me! But I got me a white Princess. It’s got about 8 leaves and getting big but I’m having browning issues (not on the variegated parts), but just brown spots. I keep it under a grow light but not directly under. Do you think I should place it under the bigger plants to keep the leaves from burning? I live in Texas, so I know it’s hot humidity, plus I run one all day already 😁
@Houseplantpixie2 жыл бұрын
💚hi yes I remember. Is the browning on the new growth or on the older leaves?
@craigwhite19442 жыл бұрын
@@Houseplantpixie both! I’m thinking too much light. I put it now by a north facing window. Is that too low?
@Houseplantpixie2 жыл бұрын
That should be fine. I struggled to find a right spot for a while. They're very sensitive to direct sunlight coming in a window. Mine is under my LED light set up in my plant room
@craigwhite19442 жыл бұрын
@@Houseplantpixie thank you!! I think that’s what I’ll do. Just an LED. I have very strong full spectrum grow lights but I have a feeling those are too strong.
@Houseplantpixie2 жыл бұрын
@@craigwhite1944 my LED lights have 1200lumens hope that helps. Just make sure your light has a good distance to avoid burning the leaves 🍃

Excellent video and beautiful plants. I have white princess. I had it since November 2020. The plant still seems like it is in dormant stage. Do you know what’s wrong with my plant.
@Houseplantpixie3 жыл бұрын
What type of potting media are you using?
@troyfrazier95423 жыл бұрын
I was using moss. But now I put it in water with some small clay balls. Not looking to good. My plant roots do not look like you’re plant. Mind looks more like aerial roots
@Houseplantpixie3 жыл бұрын
@@troyfrazier9542 I am not a fan on putting established plants in water.... a good well draining potting mix (there's a video on my channel about what I use) also don't put any rock in the bottom of your pots it won't help with drainage it'll give the plant less soil (perched water table) I hope this helps
@mayac22662 жыл бұрын
Do you water it with filter water?

Is the variegation more stable than Pink Princess?

How come one grow big and tall and the other one is shorter and grow lots of babies?
@Houseplantpixie2 жыл бұрын
💚the one with the babies is a juvenile plant which I divided (so they are not babies💚 the plant itself is one) it'll grow tall with time🙂 I guess I could film an update
@kb-vg1bc2 жыл бұрын
And my guess is the big one was guided as it grew and the shorter ones were left without a pole to grow as is
@Houseplantpixie2 жыл бұрын
The maturity level of both are huge💚the smaller ones climbing on poles now. I'll do an update video soon 🙂
