I found this online: **Yang Zhu's surviving ideas appear primarily in the Chinese texts Huainanzi, Lüshi Chunqiu, Mengzi, and possibly the Liezi and Zhuangzi.** I've read Liezi and Zhuangzi, but not Huainanzi, Lüshi Chunqiu, or Mengzi . If Mengzi is Mencius, then i already read his comments about YangZi. Could you find and read these 3 books for us and do an updated video covering YangTzu? YangTzu is my favorite philosopher and, of course, I like Taoism a lot, too.

You want me to do like an audiobook for those 3? Lol but yeah absolutely! I plan to cover anything and everything when it comes to non-western philosophical traditions so people can learn for what they won’t learn in school. Right now, I am a bit busy on my end so I can’t upload consistently like I did but later when I am more free, I plan to release more videos, including one on Yangzi!

@@lyceumofphilosophy9392 It is only YangZi I am interested in - and, to a lesser extent, Taoism and Epicureanism. I am not sure if those 3 ancient Chinese texts *really* have paragraphs or passages about YangTzu, but if they do, and if you read Chinese and can find those passages, I'd be interested in just the bits about YangTzu. i greatly dislike tradition and therefore Confucius and Mencius.

I see. I plan to do as much as I can on Yangzi but because there are only fragments of his work remaining compare to other schools, it’s going to be hard to make too many videos on him without me inserting my own words into his mouth and deceiving the viewers. But for sure. Whatever videos that I do will always include the original author’s work or whatever is relevant to them. Hope to see you in the future videos!
