In this video, I give an introductory biographical lecture discussing the life of the Ancient Greek philosopher, Plato. He is considered the "father of Western philosophy" for a good reason.

Really liked this video. I see that even though your channels focus has shifted to novels and TV shows, you still come at them from a philosophical angle. I would love it if you could continue this series of lectures. Also, you gained a new subscriber. Thanks 👍

Thank you very much! I forgot I made this video. That is true. My channel originally focused on video games and has throughout the years moved towards television shows and now Sci-Fi and Fantasy novels. One of my biggest loves in life is philosophy (I am currently a philosophy student studying for my degree) and I plan on examining and explaining philosophical concepts and ideas in my favourite novels. I would be happy to continue this series in the future once I’ve developed a decent fanbase who would be interested in watching the series (I’m afraid this just wasn’t popular). I am currently planning on mainly focusing on DUNE and Lord of the Rings. I am also currently working on the scripts of numerous upcoming DUNE videos. Three of them will be very philosophically oriented and these are currently titled: - *A Post-AI Future: The Butlerian Jihad - Why Are There No Computers or Robots in DUNE? - Dune Lore Explained - Philosophy of Mind and Technology* - *The Evolution of Mankind: How Far Can It Go? - Superhuman Factions in DUNE - Dune Lore Explained - Humanism, Transhumanism and Posthumanism* - *A Reactionary Sci-Fi World: The Galactic Imperium - Why is the Political System Feudalism in DUNE? - Dune Lore Explained - Philosophy of History and Political Philosophy* These video titles are subject to change but the essence of them will remain similar. I have many more ideas in mind, but I’ll be focusing on these ones first. I also appreciate you subscribing to my channel. It means a lot.
