Phil Robertson is a true man of God! I have had many “preachers” that wanted to baptize me. It wasn’t going to happen because they weren’t true men of God. A few of them wanted my tithing before I was to be baptized. The only man that I will ever let baptize me is Mr. Phil Robertson.

Ironically I made this comment twice today. " You can't judge a book by it's cover" This is in reference to Phil not looking preacher like. Now listen the other comment was about a pitbull. The was abandoned and after rescue they found him to be a kind loving dog. Not the typical pitbull at all. God put all this together for me, and that is amazing. I look like these guys and run around with a dog that makes a pitbull look tame. (she is a Dogo Argentino, and a sweetheart)Judged all the time, for the way I ( we) look. I figure if someone does this by how I look then I don't want to know them anyway.

It is my opinion that the validity of the wedding vow falls more to the two individuals making the vow than on the person officiating over the ceremony. The Bible says, be sure to do (fulfill), your vows to the Lord, and that is what the wedding is; a promise to God and each other to keep yourself for each other and to each other. Ironically, it is the law of man that demands the person officiating over the service be licensed/recognized by the state. Given the fact that it is God who sanctifies, God is also the one who ordains!

Great point about Jesus being homeless and Him making His home in us, however, I invite you to look into the origins of the word "carpenter" in the scriptures. The word "builder" was mistranslated as "carpenter" when it was originally meant to be "stonemason". Your point has even more meaning when we understand that our foundation is in Him, and a foundation made on stone, solid rock, (built by someone skilled in stonemasonry) is a sure foundation. -D.L.E.

Even though we don't take care of our"TENT" as Phil talked about, we will All have our place in the house of God as each of our bodies is like one brick put in place by Jesus, the builder! We that believe and trust Jesus Christ and have Him in our hearts, we are a joining part of His, God's house, and should try Our best to keep the construction going further each and every day. We all fall short sometimes in our construction, but if we really have Jesus as Our foreman, so to speak, we should spend our last earthly breath trying to complete our house, in which Jesus lives! I ponder a lot on this issue now that my parents have passed and I never married. One of the blind spots youth has to be mindful of is through gratitude make up for all the innate thanklessness particularly in gestation then through infancy. This happens in adults when we have expectations of others which should always be avoided. Selflessness not self abuse. Thanksgiving often. AND SAY SO. Particularly children to mothers for "undeserved kindness" of child bearing. This is a debt which can never be repaid. (Not that this is an invitation to make hostages of your men folk.)
