If every Christian is poor, who donates to missions? God has given all of us different talents! As for the beards I've watched the "Duck Commander" show on the Outdoor channel long before DD and the Robertsons were always sporting beards then. It has been stated they have always grown beards for hunting season, not unlike most hunters. I would challenge the Robertsons have done more for fowarding Gods Grace and teaching His Truth than many Sunday morning preachers. We all need to focus on what we as believers cans agree with, than the pidly stuff that keeps us from accomplishing Gods plan for us as a body of believers. You can bet Satan will be gunning for these faithful followers, we should keep them in our prayers!

The problem comes when the government starts making laws that force the church to change it's policies. Marriage is defined by the bible, and hence the church. I mean, it DID say that someone would have to be a member of the church that Christ started but the Bible says there is only one path to the Father which is through the Son... And Jesus came to earth and, essentially, started a church through his Apostles after his ascension. But every Christian denomination is founded on that, isn't it? If two or three or 500 people got together on day and started a church by ANY OTHER NAME that follows the pattern the early Christians set for us then they would (and do, because it happens across the world every day) have the exact same chance of heaven that I do as a member of the church of Christ. A gay person in my state can be evicted, have his children taken away or have his mortgage seized just for being gay. Why don't you know that?
