There's one of the best songs it brings back great memories that reminds me of the time in July 1999 my uncle drove me down to Carolina Beach I had one of the best times I've ever had in my life there it was just him and I spending time together 2021 December 23rd he passed away caused by stage 4 lung cancer I can't tell you all how much I miss everybody in my family that has passed on but just remember all we have really is our memories to hold on to

The single was released to country radio stations on June 4, 2001, as the fourth single from Phil Vassar's self-titled 2000 debut album. The song is about the virtues of summer joys, such as barbecuing, suntanning, and partying. The single peaked at #9 on the Billboard country charts, and #56 on the Billboard Hot 100. "One of those tunes that will reach for a six-pack of your favorite beverage, and just kick back with the sun on your face. As breezy as a day at the beach" - Deborah Evans Price, Billboard magazine. Glen Rose directed the song's music video, which featured Vassar on his touring. It premiered on CMT on June 26, 2001 during CMT Most Wanted Live.👍

Phil still has a special place in my heart after all these years! Love it too that he's wearing the Texas A&M Aggies t-shirt I gave him in this video. Gigtours 2001 may have been a long time ago, but I still remember every day on the road with Phil. Thanks for the memories Phil and crew and thanks to all my fellow Phil Phans who were crazy enough to travel with him on the road. It was an adventure!
