"When I sat by that hospital bed, You were worthy". This song has literally come into my life the hour I needed it most. My wife Melanie of 5 1/2 years was killed 6 months ago after shots were fired at our home, one of which struck her while she was reading a bedtime Bible story to our 6-month-old. I now find myself a single father with two daughters (1 & 2 1/2 years old) at the age of 26. But despite the immense pain/loss I feel, I know God is good, faithful and worthy to be praised; even when I don't understand it. So instead of cursing or blaming Him, I choose to be like Job, saying "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord". This song is beautifully written and a wonderful reminder to never stop singing His praise!

My son died on May 26, 22 two days before his 19th birthday from a car wreck. God has been so faithful to me during this time giving me the reassurance that I needed that I would see my son again. My days are not the same as they used to be. I’m missing him so much. Still dealing with the unbelief that he is truly gone, but through it all I know with every fiber of my being that God is still worthy of all my praise. Praise the name of Jesus!! My husband of almost 51 years passed away almost 6 months ago from esophageal cancer. He sat by my hospital bed after I had coded several times. He was there for me. We didn't know he had cancer developing at that time. And then the tide turned; it was discovered that he had cancer and was already in stage 4. For 2 weeks, I sat by his bed. They sent him home and he passed the next day. I was devastated and broken. I cry everyday. But I still praise God for being with me and answering prayers and guiding me. One day these tears will be wiped away and joy will come in the morning. "I'll never stop singing Your Praise." Worthy is the Lord!

I was in deep prayer and finished praying, came into my room and this video was autoplaying on my TV. The lyrics themselves are an answer to one of my biggest questions in my prayer to the Lord God. I couldn’t believe how much Jesus loves me. My arms lifted up on their own in adoration and worship during this song, the Holy Spirit took control 🙌🏻 this was after a night of my mom and me being abused by my dad. I prayed so hard for help. I had began to attempt suicide earlier in the night because of my father. Thank God for my mom being a strong woman of Faith, she said let’s put Phil on KZbin. His more popular songs that I know came on and I left the room to do the dishes and I prayed very deeply for quite some time, I was in despair and desperation. I never heard this song before and my mom didn’t put it on. This is Jesus Himself His overwhelming love. I asked Him, “do you really love me THIS much?” and I cried to the Lord. This is my new battle cry as I am in the midst of a nervous breakdown and I have no one in life but my mom. Please pray for me, I’m only 33 and I’ve developed too many physical and mental health conditions throughout my life and it’s intensified since last year. The spiritual warfare is too much especially when I’m not strong enough to fight the spiritual attacks because of my health, but I’ll do what I can to strengthen my spirit. Of all the Christian singers out there, Phil Wickham always seems the most sincere about making this all about God and not him. Too many popular artists bring their egos into it - probably without even realizing it. I just saw the video for a song professing to make everything about Jesus and the video from end-to-end was nothing but the lead singer. Made no sense a team of people could put that together and not put it together. I've seen others 'perform' in concert in such a secular way that it turned me off to their music. Phil's sincerity in his worship and the beautiful voice God gave him have been such a blessing to me, especially when the world was turned upside down during Covid. Will be forever grateful to him and his music during such a difficult time. I loved seeing my little girls huddle around my laptop when I had on Living Hope. They told me, "Mommy, we like your God songs." 🥰

Listening to this song makes me wonder why am I so stressed and always anxious. I can’t even figure out why I’m going through this, I pray for myself so I recognize God and his wonderful powers. I always pray for others and am open to hear their suffering, but sometimes I wonder who will do that for me? I realize that I don’t need someone on earth to save me, but I need God. He is the only one who can save and heal permanently. Others might give you satisfaction of relief temporarily, but God gives you long lasting freedom. I believe that God will show me what I am doing wrong eventually. I open my heart to God, I am available to experience his saving. I just have to trust and wait patiently, I have to carry along even if it means I will suffer. When I am saved, I will pass Jesus’s word onto other people who are struggling. Praise God! ❤☺

My friend from school is going through a lot, I am worried for her. She covers her sadness and anxiety with fake smiles and fake happiness. I heard that she prays for lots of other people, her friends and family. But, she never prays for herself, she is insecure of herself and doesn’t trust herself infront of God. I remember when I was on a five month “Phil Wickham Music Fast” which I called the Praise and Thanksgiving Frequency, sort of a Psalm 100 come to life, I was deeply impressed by how relentless he is in praising Jesus. I guess this song is sort of highlighting that. 🙂 I guess I love this song now, in light of that. :) Praise God for the one who relentlessly praises. (The fast wasn’t intentional - nothing creepy. God just sort of put me there and that’s where I was for many months. Sometimes one has to know one is safely in the courts. It’s important.) And it’s true. Believe me, 24/7 for months on end hearing the same voice, I probably heard most things poor Mr. Wickham put out. It’s true. Almost always, he sings Jesus’ praise. For what it’s worth. He doesn’t stop singing Jesus’ praise. May he and his family and everyone who puts these things together be blessed. Oh, and it should be put out there, because it’s true. Something about the way Mr. Wickham praises God makes me want to praise Him through thick and thin and all sorts of storms. There’s something there which makes service of the Lord, the greatest pleasure known to man. Hats off, sir.

I catch on slow....but Mum saw a vision of a crown with rubies her favourite, she was walking up stairs to heaven. I knew she was being called home a few weeks before she went on the ventilator I just didn't want to listen at the time. After mum passed in February there has been a few songs that have really spoke to my heart this one has been the anthem of my heart. I am so encouraged by all my brothers and sisters who have been through pain and lost 💔 much. But u are keeping the faith! Keep the FAITH! One day at a time.
