I'm the only Christian in my family. My people have been deeply hurt by residential schools in Canada. Unfortunately this hurt and fear continues to this day. Passionate preaching is also very frightening to them. This has made a huge barrier for my people to start to trust God. This is a great song to help them FEEL God's Love and maybe help them to begin to trust Him! I hope I can have the courage to sing it for them at family gatherings. Thank you!

I was asked to leave, sleeping in the church and one night the Lord spoke out clearly, "I will settle you" I got a roommate and today 3yrs later I own a home, a very decent one. Whitestripes technically, in the old testament was when you really needed to work to not only be made right with God but to please him as well. we dont need to "give it our all".... just simply taking the time to say the name "jesus" in praise of him, is pleasing to him. now personally, per say, i love to sing, i blurt out whatever comes to my mind, when it comes to whether a verse comes to mind, or one of his names come to mind, or just singing thank you lord, or praise you jesus, or i love you lord. i personally, LOVE to sing "i love you my king" yes its nice that people get creative with their lyrics, but he doesnt ask us for that, king david was constantly singing praises to the lord, and none of his words rhymed and sometimes it didnt even make sense to us, but it makes sense to God.
