I've been thinking of Philza's code theory myself, though i took it in a different direction. What if the friendlier codes are the corrupted souls of the dead eggs? For all we know Bobby could have been the one that entrusted Etoiles with the final piece of the sword and the book that said "protect"; as in protect his/their family. Part of me hopes that isn't the case.... But who knows at this point

2:39:21 after earring about the codes maybe reviving Flipa to make Slime happy, I wondered: During the event when they first impersonated Tallulah (forgot how to write it) and Chayannne, they could have impersonated anyone. They could have impersonated a streamer and just nod/shake head/jump/crouch and, even if people would have been suspicious, nobody would have attacked immediately. And it was a short term “mission” so a few hours would have been fine. So, why taking the form of the eggs, who would be in the center of the adults attentions ? Even more by their parents as we saw with Phil who payed extra attention and exposed them. Why taking this risk? His idea just popped in my head listening to them talking about Flipa and thinking about Phil’s theory of the codes being failed eggs : maybe they wanted that attention? The affection the eggs received from their parents? Maybe, while attacking the eggs might mainly be agains the feds, maybe their insistence at time is partly influenced by jealousy? Besides, I have the feelings that most of the groups on the island are kinda divided in groups who only partially work together : the streamers are diverted (those who came from the island, those who came from outside and those who lost their mind), the federation workers and the census bureau, the codes who obey the feds and those who don’t. And you can say that the resistance are divided too since there are those infiltrated and those who aren’t (maybe?) So, basically, what I’m saying is maybe the thing about Flipa might be an isolated case of a code wanting a parent or befriended Flipa and saved her/fused with her or some shit ... Now I’m sad
