Definitely check out Phinehas' other albums. Every one of them (with the exclusion of Dark Flag which is a concept album) has immense theological depth in the lyrics. Even Dark Flag has that, though its main focus is calling out the atrocities of the Kim regime in North Korea.

Just an observation from someone who grew up in a strict Christian household and was restricted from listening to "secular music"--there are themes and messages you can take & carry with you from all genres of music, Christian band or not. Some of the most poignant, metaphysical and spiritual awakenings I have gotten from Non-Christian lyricists. The new Architects album is a great example of this.

​@@bythesea207Metalcore as a genre in general I find to be relatively uplifting and positively messaged. There's exceptions of course, but you don't run into a lot of Marilyn Mansonesque themes in metalcore, and there's a lot of encouragement, and existential themes.
